I visited this place around 2019 and it was delicious, especially the pancakes made with barley and millet. However, in the last two years, I visited twice and thought maybe it was just a particular order, branch, or the cook having an off day. Today, I was really disappointed—the eggs were dry, like dough mixed with yellow coloring (I couldn’t finish them), the coffee was very weak, and the pumpkin pancakes looked and tasted completely different from what was advertised. The place itself is beautiful, and the hosts are wonderful, but I won’t be visiting again

Wow. Phenomenal food. Friendly service. Bright enjoyable atmosphere. I had the avocado, bacon, benedict with grits and it was the best breakfast I’ve ever purchased. Every bite was amazing. I’m usually very critical of breakfast food, and this place surpassed all expectations. My only gripe was the coffee, which was standard fare, but not great. The food was so amazing that this is now my new go-to spot for breakfast. Oh and the service was spot-on, pleasant and prompt.

There are no bad eggs here (ha-ha), the food is awesome, decent prices, good but not overwhelming selection. But the people are why we keep coming back here. Everyone we have ever met here has been amazing, and people eating here are in better moods for their interactions with the crew. Special shout out to Lexi and Danesha (I hope I got their names right lol) for always being super amazing and putting genuine smiles on my face. I love you guys!

This was a greaaaaaaat time. Very relaxing, clean, good colors around the store. Our server’s name was Yael and she was amazing. Very genuine, kind, and funny. The food was tasty, filling and pretty! Coffee was good, i got the vanilla cold brew, wasnt exactly what i thought but it was not bad. Definitely coming back when we visit the area again! Oh and prices!!!!!!! Definitely worth the prices!

The service was quick and diligent. The food was fresh hot when served. The atmosphere seemed like that of most breakfast/cafe style restaurants.
I highly recommend you try their home fries. They were the most surprisingly good thing we had. We also enjoyed their strawberry cream cheese filled donuts, country fried steak Eggs Benedict, and Egg BLT. The eggs were cooked to order, and were accurate to how we ordered them, poached for the Eggs Benedict and over easy for the Egg BLT.
We definitely recommend Eggs Up Grill Apex for a quick service, quaint breakfast cafe.
