From the moment we walked in, this place impressed us with its warm atmosphere, delicious food, and outstanding customer service. We stumbled upon this hidden gem and it absolutely did not disappoint. We ordered the hot chocolate, biscuits and gravy, eggs Benedict, and a breakfast burrito everything was cooked perfectly, well-seasoned, and served quickly. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. If you’re ever in the area, this spot is definitely worth a visit you won’t regret stopping by.

I came here for the first time and was overall pretty happy. The place is very busy and there is no where to wait. While waiting for a table, I felt a little uncomfortable hovering around the people that were eating. The food was very good and fairly priced. I got a breakfast platter and everything was cooked perfectly. The peanut butter pancakes looked plain but they were packed with so much flavor. The potatoes were just like my mom used to make and that means they were absolutely delicious.

Visited for breakfast with my family and waited about 45-50minutes to be seated. We don’t eat meat but do eat eggs, so we ordered the veggie omelette with rye bread and home fries, the egg-and-veg pizza, and the French toast with fries for my kid and coffee obviously. The food was good and our server was very kind.
Overall, it was a nice experience, just a bit of a long wait in the beginning, but we left happy.

The Food:
The special pancakes this visit were pumpkin and they were absolutely DELICIOUS! I would go all the way back to Pittsburgh just to have them again… and I’m from VA! We also ordered regular pancakes, regular french toast, the Crabby Benedict and the rum raisin french toast. All but the last were just average. The rum raisin french toast was really good but the bread was a bit hard. The Crabby Benedict was alright – we expected more from it, it wasn’t well seasoned but it wasn’t bad. Overall it was a good meal but I would prioritize coming here for the specialty pancakes!
The Service:
There was a really long line when we got there but somehow we were seated in 10 minutes at a good spot near the front. Our server came by promptly, was very kind and accommodating to our requests, and brought our food out pretty quickly after ordering. We were able to order the 3 stack pancake and sub out 1 for the speciality. We did the same for the french toast, subbing out 1 for the rum raisin. This is not explicitly mentioned in the menu but our server did not have a problem accommodating us.
The Atmosphere:
It was a small diner but somehow we didn’t hear anyone else’s conversation. It gave a hometown feel and we felt welcomed throughout our time here. I would come here for a nice, cheery breakfast rather than for a serious conversation or something of the sort.

My friend and I were in town for a concert and decided to stop for breakfast before leaving. We couldn’t have picked a better place! Great food that was reasonably priced and super friendly staff. I loved the atmosphere of this place too.

Everyone working this morning is so kind. Pancake filling of the month is Boston cream. Highly recommend stopping by. The little mama pancake special is $8 and has an egg, a pancake, and a choice of meat

The food is delicious, the service was great. The server was friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere felt like family getting together. We were welcomed by a couple of customers, letting us know the food is good. They also welcomed us to the city. The hot sausage was spicy like the server explained. Yum. I also had hot chocolate but no pic. It was also tasty. Will definitely return on the next visit.

A truly delicious and wonderfully staffed business. Their French toast is incredible, the prices are very reasonable, and all the servers are friendly, kind, and go out of their way. Jenn and Amanda are just top tier! I always if they’re working because they just make our day. Our favorite breakfast spot snuggled into an unassuming location though I would recommend coming early as they are not a hidden secret!
