Excellent service and a really nice atmosphere, with plenty of good food choices, especially if you’re looking for healthier options. Two of us had breakfast along with lattes, and the total came to around $60 before tip, which feels pretty typical for inner city Chicago pricing.
The maple bacon was fantastic. We did wait about 15 minutes, but the place was clearly busy, so it made sense. Overall, a great experience.

My first time here. Positives were, the space was cozy and well lit. Plenty of parking. Wheelchair accessible and lots of space to move. I went for brunch on Christmas Eve and it was surprisingly pretty empty. We were promptly seated. The food was good and the coffee was fresh and hot. For the cons, most times I appreciate the speediness of the service but this time it made me feel rushed. We got our food within 10 minutes of us placing our order with our server. Our server checked in with us once and then immediately came back to tell us how to pay the check. Again, typically speediness is great, but this time it felt like we were being rushed out. Other than that, the overall experience was, OK. I wasnt wowed or dissatisfied. It was just, OK. The kids working the front were friendly. Again, nothing really bad, it was just kind of a bland experience.

Staff was nice and friendly but I guess the waitress forgot to bring our food out. By the time we got the good it was almost cold, very mildly warm. It still tasted good but ♀️ you know. As it was getting closer to closing time, about 45 mins to 2pm (when we noticed it). It sounds like the kitchen was ready to go. They had music on loud enough to hear in the seating area which was otherwise pretty quiet. I’d go again because I think forgetting the food was an honest mistake and the food was good. Hopefully next time my food will not be cold and all will be great.

So lovely and cozy. Very kind staff and welcoming atmosphere. I had an avocado toast, it usually comes with two eggs but I purposely asked just for one as you can see in the pic. My husband had a smoked salmon Benedict that appreciated greatly! Highly recommended spot!

When you roll into a breakfast joint at 10AM and the place is buzzin’ like a coffee-fueled PTA meeting, you know you’ve wandered into something good. Despite the bustle, I was seated faster than you can say “I’ll take mine over medium.”
Kara = Sunshine in Human Form
My server Kara deserves a shoutout and possibly a parade. She was kind, helpful, and glowed with the kind of energy that makes you wonder if she secretly lives inside a cereal box labeled “Optimism O’s.”
️ The Geneva Rosti (aka: Mid-Morning Royalty)
Kara recommended the Geneva Rosti, and wow—this thing was like a warm hug in casserole form.

Plus a buttered English muffin with their signature jam (which might just have been crafted by woodland elves), and some fresh fruit to keep things classy. The whole plate had fresh written all over it, and the portion was generous without flirting with food coma territory.

Egg Harbor rocks a bright farm kitchen aesthetic that could charm even the grumpiest rooster. Staff were genuinely friendly, not just the “I’ve had 16 hours of corporate training” kind. It’s the kind of place you’d happily return to—even if only to chase that English muffin jam again.

Egg Harbor is the type of place where breakfast feels like an experience and kindness is clearly baked into the service. Will I return? Absolutely. Kara, keep doing the Lord’s work one muffin at a time.

Waited over 40 mins to have our order (not busy) taken and food was brought cold. Told waitress, she offered to bring me another, said no. No offer to take off bill. Did not have time to wait another hour for another. Waitress was not accommodating and we did not check in us. Very disappointed.
