Awesome 50s ambience as soon as you walk in the door. Very friendly service, Vee is really an awesome waitress. The food is amazing! It’s our new favorite restaurant in Haines City. Highly recommend!

This place will take you back a couple of decades. The decor is that of an Ole 50s diner. The service was excellent and so accommodating. The food is great. The flavors are on point. The portions are huge. You are definitely walking out with a to-go box. We are coming back soon. I would recommend this place to everyone. Say hi to Steve our server!

This is a cute 50s style diner. I came with my husband and we were seated quickly. I got a build your own omelette with home fries. The toast came a little burnt. My husband got some pancakes with bacon and hash browns. The portion sizes were huge, very affordable. Sorry I took my pictures after we started eating already! The parking lot is a little small.

My husband and I love hunting for diners and dives and this one is absolutely highest on the list!! B was our server and she was absolutely amazing which just added to the amazing food we received! 100% recommended the chicken pot pie soup and you have to save space for the Oeey gooey pie!

It was ok thats all I can say, my toast was hard as a rock and my grandsons sausage links were burned when we ask for different sausage the server you could tell didn’t like it. The set up and decor was awesome but we were just looking for a good breakfast and I wouldn’t go back for breakfast again. The Gravy has cut up chucks of sausage not ground sausage and my hashbrowns I didn’t get too greasy.

We stopped at this place to give it a try. I can honestly say we were impressed with the place and the food. I had the City Mush plate. Wow! I loved it! Its grits with eggs, bacon, and sausage gravy! I know my doctor would not want me to eat that but he was not there! My friend had the waffle with blue berries, eggs, bacon and home fries. I have to also mention that the prices were very reasonable. The server was friendly and attentive at all times. By the way its not on the menu but this past Sunday when we visited again they had chicken and waffles! That was a great dish! You can bet we will be stop in again and again. Good food, good atmosphere, good service and great prices! Its a win win for all!

Before returning home while on vacation, we had breakfast. Just wow! Wished we had a diner like this where we live. We love the atmosphere, 50’s decor & music, and the food is incredibly good.

Vi was perfect. Best waitress we’ve seen in a long time! Everyone here is friendly, but vi makes you feel like family. The food was excellent. The diner, atmosphere, ambiance, all great! I highly recommend eating here at least once, it won’t be your last time here.

For a Brit abroad in the US, most food is sweet gank. Your average Denneys etc will swamp your food with sugar and syrup. Egg City is as close to home food as you’ll get, though not to close. Typical Diner, price was 29 bucks with an obligatory ( not optional as you may be led to beleive) 18% as a minimum tip. Coffee is good as are the home fries, which aren’t chips but fried boiled spuds which is nice to find. Food, like all American restaurants, will be luke warm. Plates are plastic, not a criticism as it helps keep the food warm longer. Staff are really very pleasant. Our server was attentive and quick.
