Effina’s is the spot for you, if you are craving the taste of Italy. The menu has a good selection of items from pasta, pizza and hand-held’s. It all begins with fresh bread and Olive oil with herbs. All the dishes we have tried have been richly delicious.

This place is a real gem! High quality Italian food that is both delicious and affordable in price. Most places I have been to and reviewed are decent in quality but usually a little high in price.
Not this place, the food was actually, in my opinion, a little cheap for the quality and quantity. Our server was exceptional and very attentive with a good smile everytime she came to the table. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting Italian food with a good amount of choices that exceeds expectations. The picture is of the BBQ chicken pizza , mozzarella bread, and some of the best Calamari i have had!

We visited Effina’s with friends on a Sunday afternoon. It’s a great little place in Jacksonville with rustic Italian decore’. The service was good; not very personal but very thorough. I had the Italian Nachos (pictured), as well as the breakfast pizza for my meal. The food was very well prepared; the Italian Nachos were AWESOME. Seriously, I’m getting them again. Waffle cut potatoes with Italian Seasoned Chicken, perfectly cooked. covered with peppers, then cheese. They were so good. My Breakfast Pizza was good, but there wasn’t much about it that screamed breakfast. It had a small amount of scrambled eggs, but they really weren’t noticeable. It tasted great, I just wanted more of a breakfast theme on it. The food was priced well; we’ll definitely be back!
A side note, the upstairs dining is a bit inconveniently located. The restrooms are downstairs, and for some in our party, the stairs were quite the struggle.

Don’t order the Scampi Pizza expecting it to be what the menu says. That is how they use to actually make it but now, the only thing actually listed that is correct is the shrimp! It doesn’t have scampi sauce it’s some light brown sauce and filled with half little tomatoes. If it has bacon and green onions, it’s soooo fine you won’t taste it. This once was a pizza I would brag to people about, now don’t walk away, run away! I’m from here but now live in the Phoenix area. Most things are cheaper in price here than the Phoenix area. NOT this place, they make places (100x better) in the Phoenix area, look cheap! Never again will I order from here.
BTW, charging gratuity, typically lessens how much someone would actually tip for to go orders, because now it’s zero ♂️

First time visit. Nice atmosphere and good food. My waiter was a little slow at returning to the table but over all great experience. They were busy at 5pm on a Sunday evening so I understood. I ordered the Effina pizza and it was really good.

Effina’s is hands-down the best restaurant in the Jacksonville area! The menu has an incredible variety, from sandwiches and salads to full Italian entrees, and everything I’ve ever tried has been absolutely delicious. The wait staff is always kind, attentive, and welcoming. You also get a generous amount of food for the price.
While they specialize in Italian cuisine, they offer so much more, making it easy for everyone to find something they love. We’ve also used Effina’s for catering, and I cannot say enough good things! They catered my daughter’s wedding in 2024 and people are still raving about how amazing the food was. It was so reasonably priced and such a hit that we’ve already booked them to cater my other daughter’s wedding this winter!
A special shout-out to Jennifer with the catering team—she has been incredible to work with, full of creative menu ideas, and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. Highly recommend for dining in or catering a special event!

My family and I have been ordering to go plates for well over a year atleast 2 sometimes 3 times a month. We always order extra bread and 9 times out of 10 I get a ribye. Lately it has been horrible, bread is stale and we are getting 3-4 drops of oil in each container. Steak is hit or miss.
I have been so disappointed. Please stop sending your old bread out in the to go orders and put oil with the fresh bread
