A nice cozy little spot on James St with a wide variety of food and drinks. A great place to order big plates and share food with the table. Our server was very friendly and had extensive knowledge about the menu. The cocktails and food were both delicious. I’ll definitely be back to try out more things on the menu.

Phenomenal food! Everything tastes homemade and hits such great flavour combinations. The prices are super fair and you get really good portions. Only complaint is that the restaurant is very small and cramped. This place deserves a bigger space! Can’t wait to come back.

It’s a fantastic Thai restaurant that is now on james street. If you are into Thai food, I highly recommend you come and try this place out. They have some really interesting options. Apart from the very usual pad thai that’s available everywhere. We tried to phuket fish balls which were really unique and amazing. And also the crispy tofu with a peanut sauce was fantastic.
Unfortunately didn’t have halal meat and they don’t really have too many fish options. But the fish items that did have were great. And the server recommended them to us and it didn’t really stop us from enjoying. So I’d probably be back and have the same dish again.
This is a must try thai place especially If you are into thai food

Had a wonderful experience dining at Eem Khao. Food was amazing. Love the noodles. The star of the show was the pork belly followed by the fried chicken. We definitely come back and have more of the same and some new dishes too!
Food comes out really fast too.

I love Chinese food and was happy to stop by Eem Khao Restaurant for lunch. I tried the nam prik pao chicken and the pad mee hokkien—both were absolutely delicious. A very nice place with great flavors; definitely don’t miss it.

I’ve already tried it, and the food tastes great! It’s a refreshing and unique Thai-Chinese restaurant in this area.
Today, I had the Phuket Fish Balls, Nam Prik Pao Chicken, Khao Man Kai, Khao Kha Moo, and Gway Tiew Gai Toon — and they were all absolutely delicious. I was really impressed, and I truly felt the ‘Eem Khao’ spirit.
I highly recommend you come and give it a try!

Yum! I like their Schmaltzy rice, Khao Kha Moo (braised pork hock), iced Thai milk tea and the mee klook
If you like spicy, please don’t forget to add their crispy spicy oil!
They have a really tiny space, pretty crowd, also if you sit beside the windows, it’s so freaking cold because of the wind.

This place is a find! We went for my partner’s bday and it was just what we wanted: hearty comfort food that bursts with flavor, incredible and innovative cocktails, friendly service, cool ambiance, and just a great overall vibe. Honestly, this was one of the best meals I’ve had in recent memory and we can’t wait to go back.

Great little spot to meet with friends for dinner. The food was delicious but the menu was a little confusing and even our server seemed unsure of how to answer some of our questions. The restaurant is fairly new and so maybe this is feedback that can help improve the experience. I will for sure be returning in the future!

Very small restaurant so make reservations. Nice atmosphere. Clean and quaint. It took a while to get our drink order in but the servers we had were very friendly and helpful with the menu. The food was very tasty. We had the ribs to start and they fell off the bone. Delicious. One of the dishes was pork and our friend found it very fatty. The dish itself was very flavourful. My husband and I shared the platter and there was plenty of food. We would definitely recommend this place.
