Hadn’t eaten here since I move from Tucson 6 yrs ago. They did not disappoint. First off the flavor of the month is raspberry lemonade, yum! Got the turkey with provolone and fries. It was delicious and very filling.

I came up to Tucson for a conference, and everyone said I had to try Eegees. The sub was pretty good. It was made well and tasted pretty good overall. I was really here for the drinks. I tried the flavor of the month, which was the Tiger blood. I thought it was pretty good slushy. It was fun trying a new flavor over the standard offerings. I saw a lot of reviews saying the quality has gone way down, so im just speaking of what I experienced, but Ifor the price I thought it was good overall.

Eegees has really disappointed compared to the Eegees of old. The sandwiches are nothing amazing, bread is way too soft, and my Eegee was half melted when it was served.
Fries and ranch are the only reason to still come here.

i don’t ever leave reviews but i’m very disappointed with the service i received today (12/30/25).
when my grandmother and i arrived there was a table of 8 and a table of 3 inside waiting on their food. we stood at the counter to order and it took about 5 minutes for any of the shockingly large amount of employees behind the counter to acknowledge us. an employee eventually walked up to the register and didn’t say anything to me, just stared, so i went on and placed my order with him. from there, 40 minutes went by sitting without food!!! the other tables in the building had also been waiting this entire time. meaning no sandwiches came out to the dining room for 40 minutes!! from my seat i could see the drive thru and noticed there were only a few cars.
even if the drive thru was out onto oracle, i feel like the 10 employees making cold sandwiches and french fries should have been able to manage getting a single tables order into the dining room.
when my grandmother went up to ask about our food, she noticed a few employees playing toss in the back while we waited 40 minutes for mediocre subs.
the food was okay. not the best i’ve ever had and definitely the worst service i have ever received from any food establishment in my many years on this earth.

I went in yesterday to buy a $25 gift card. The employee didn’t seem to know how to activate it but said it was good to go, so I left with it. When I called the number on the back to check the balance, it showed nothing was loaded and I was planning to mail it to my daughter for her birthday.
I went back in today to have it fixed, but the manager on duty told me he didn’t know how to load the gift card either. Two trips, and still couldn’t get the gift card activated. Very frustrating experience and disappointing customer service.
The manager did send my daughter a gift card and I do appreciate that.

Update: nothing has changed. Not a fry has been ate and no fries in bag. Save your money and just order a small!! So annoyed at this place.
They really rob you on fries always. This is supposed to be a large nothing was taken out or eaten or spilled prior to this photo!! If ordering from drive thru prepare for something to be wrong with the order too.

So call me old-fashioned but I do believe that it would be nice to be greeted with a smile or a friendly hello when you order food from someplace especially when there’s not another soul in the restaurant at all. The food was good although the kids meal came up halfway through our meal because they forgot about it and when we asked about it it was a very cold response as though I was out of line asking but clearly forgotten and no apologies.

We purchased a full sandwich at a cost of almost $13. We asked for the famous ranch dressing and they told us it’s .75 for each one!! I said no thanks . We will not frequent this restaurant as much as we use to.

They changed it. What used to be a Tucson staple stopped doing what they are good at. They were so good that they didn’t need to compete. I have kids that now n live out of state and when they come home this is the first place they want to eat. Not anymore.

The morning staff on 11/22 were so wonderful I needed a last minute order to feed some firefighters for a funeral. They were helpful and accommodating!! Could not have asked for better service!! Thank you!!
