Came in as a walk-in without reservations right at 4:30P when they opened. We were greeted and seated promptly. It was empty when we walked in but started to fill up around 5-5:30P. The atmosphere immediately gives off classic traditional Japanese vibes, with beautiful design details and great photo opportunities both inside and outside. The warm Japanese welcome greeting from each staff member was a lovely touch and really set the tone. The food presentation was beautiful and quintessentially Japanese, simple, clean, and thoughtfully plated.

Our server was kind but not very attentive, which was a bit frustrating, as I had to keep flagging down other servers for assistance. To their credit, the other staff members were very helpful and accommodating. The flavors were simple and fresh overall. The price point felt a bit high for what we received, and I would not recommend the chicken wings, as they were overly sweet. You cannot go wrong with the udon or zaru soba. The wagyu in the udon was especially soft and tender, and the salmon temaki was super fresh.

Overall, it was a great experience, and I would return again.

The building is super cool, really sets the atmosphere for an authentic experience. Jeremy was an AWESOME server, very knowledgeable of the menu & friendly. We had an appetizer that’s octopus in a wasabi sauce, if you like octopus you have to try it. We got the cod with miso & the tuna otoro sushi & it was SO good we forgot to take a pic. Then we had the Anmitsu desert which has fresh fruit, jelly cubes, red bean paste, mochi and ice cream. It was fresh and yummy.

The atmosphere was amazing! This restaurant is absolutely beautiful. It is a very cozy place. The food was good but not great to me.

We had the sushi variety as well as the a5 wagyu roll. I was expected to be blown away by the a5 wagyu but it just didn’t. It was cold and chewy when it came to us. We have had it plenty of times at other places.

We also had the seafood tempura which I thought was great though!

Another thing they need to work on is service. I had to wave down my waiter probably about 6 times. He never really check in on us. This was an early Thursday night and it wasn’t that busy at all.

Had the omakase here last night and what a fine dining experience! The decoration and quality of food was really good. The service was also great. The omakase was worth it because you definitely get a good variety to taste from and definitely leave full and satisfied.

Definitely feels like a treasure to have such an upscale restaurant in the north point area of all places. The atmosphere and decoration and architecture of the place really immerse you into feeling the Japanese culture. The yuzu flavored drinks were the best. Omakase varies ofc but the grapefruit dessert, wagyu, and all the sushi were my fav. There wasn’t a single thing that I didn’t love. Worth it if you love Japanese food and want a unique experience.

THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING!!! Me and my boyfriend made a reservation for our 2 year anniversary and when we arrived the hostess welcomed us with the biggest smile on her face and said “happy anniversary” she led us upstairs where we had the omakase experience. The inside of the restaurant was beautiful and we had a private room so it was perfect for a nice intimate dinner. our server greeted us outside the room and she was the sweetest lady ever. We had the course laid out on a piece of paper and they brought out the most delicious food i’ve ever had. I got to try things i’ve never had and it was just so lovely. Everytime our server came back into our room she had the most pleasant smile and the most beautifully plated dishes i couldn’t help but say “OUUUUUUUU” everytime she came in. Overall such a lovely experience and all the staff were so kind and said hello when we came and thanked us for coming and dining with them. Such a lovely experience and made it such a memorable anniversary for the both of us!!! ❤️

I kid you not, looking at Edo from the outside you would not expect it to look the way it did on the inside & that’s a great thing. They recently opened up their second floor, but the inside I absolutely loved, it reminded me of the infinity castle in DS. It looked like it was more intimate on the second floor as far as dining, first floor you can see a bit of everyone but still spacious enough to enjoy your company. We came here to celebrate my belated birthday, hence the cute desert in the photo. But everything about this place we adored. Bit of a hike but worth it every once in a while, especially for outstanding sushi.

They also have a cute small shop on the right side of the restaurant before you enter on the left if you want to snag any dinnerware or tea sets!

We had such a genuinely lovely evening. Even though our reservation was on the later side, the staff welcomed us with open arms and made us feel completely at ease from the moment we arrived. There was no sense of being rushed—just calm, attentive service that allowed us to settle in and enjoy every moment. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, with just the right balance of warmth and elegance. Every interaction felt thoughtful, from the way our server checked in at perfect intervals to the little details that made the space feel cared for.

And the hostess—she was absolutely adorable. Her bright smile and sweet energy instantly set the tone for the night.

Was pretty excited to eat here. Absolutely loved the atmosphere and the drink I had was perfect. However, there were a few dishes that missed the mark. In addition to a few menu items not being very great (they weren’t terrible, but I wouldn’t order them again), the prices were quite high for what you get.

We had the udon, sashimi, and the shiitake mushrooms + shashito skewers. All lovely! The yellowtail sashimi was out of this world. Brandon was a great server, and recommended the milk pudding for dessert which we loved!
