My absolute favorite sushi place around. Ridiculously underrated. I drive from Washington DC to BK just for this place sometimes. Always have the freshest options. Chef does omakase upon request. You won’t be disappointed. Phenomenal.

The restaurant is located in the Gravesend section of Brooklyn. They prepare Japanese cuisine. Soups, salads, sushi, sashimi, hibachi, poke bowls and entrees are available. I ordered the sushi deluxe. It included ten pieces of sushi and a roll. The mixed poke bowl has tuna, salmon, avocado, corn, jalapeno peppers, cucumber, fried onion, nori over sushi rice. The rolls are well-prepared. The food was very good. Very friendly and helpful staff.

This sushi place is a true gem. The fish is always incredibly fresh, and somehow the prices have stayed the same while most places have increased theirs — which makes it even more special. The chef is unbelievably talented and always finds a way to surprise you with something unique and delicious. Every visit feels like a treat. Highly recommended!

I came here with a big family during Christmas, they had really delicious rolls, including the spicy salmon roll and the curry noodles. Highly recommended to stop by!

Not great. I ordered the Naruto roll (pictured), hibachi fried rice and wings. The rice and wings were super bland and the wings were also not crispy at all. The Naruto roll was sort of swimming in an unknown milky liquid but (having no self-respect) I still ate it and it was pretty good.

Compared to other sushi places I’ve ordered at, the rolls are usually larger for the same price. The ratio of rice compared to fish is twice the amount. There is barely any fish in the sushi. The price is good but the sushi barely has anything inside besides rice.

I often dine here . There are many ‘highly-rated’ Japanese restaurants in a ten block radius… I’ve tried them all. But for the price, quality and freshness of seafood, Edo located at 2087 Coney Island Ave is tops. The menu has many options from appetizers, oysters, sushi, sashimi, omakase & shabu-shabu. Plus the sake & beer options compliment the authentic cuisine. The well-informed staff are attentive & fun. You will have a great dinner & great evening here.Manager Eric is a wonderful and funny person…..
