Place was clean and looks nice. Got poutines to-go. They are better than some options in Ottawa, but not great. Very expensive for the size you get ($12 for what is small-medium size). I would return, but I’d try the burgers instead, and recommend avoiding the poutine.

The place is really nice and the food is delicious. I enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere overall.
However, there is a strong smell of fried food inside the restaurant. Unfortunately, after leaving, my clothes also smelled like fried food. I think the place would really benefit from a better ventilation or exhaust system.
Other than that, it’s a great spot and definitely worth visiting.

Went for the classic smash burger and fries. The burger initially was great . A bit messy but as expected with a smash. However half way through I noticed it became very salty and then extremely salty. I’m not sure if added salt is typical to a smash but it was powerful enough to taste through the generous “big Mac” style. The fries are lack luster I would pass on them next time. Atmosphere was good , friendly staff and appeared clean.

Solid chicken burger that wasn’t over fried with a ton of batter. The sauces are good, I loved the spicy pickled relish type thing that was on the table. I do like to see a beef patty that wasn’t so cooked as to keep a bit more juicy flavor, this one was close. The patty itself could have been spiced a bit better but the condiments on it made up for that.
Really great fries, would go back just for the fries and atmosphere. This is the type of burger joint that Ottawa needs more of rather then the fast food ones all over the place.

The burger at Edinburger was really good and I also enjoyed their sauces. The prices are a little on the higher side, but overall it’s worth trying at least once.

Start out your visit with a friendly greeting and then add a delicious burger and what more could you ask for? Super friendly staff and very tasty food options. Portion sizes are right on the money. Easy to recommend this place for a tasty bite with friends and or family.

I enjoyed the experience!
I got the following:
– Strawberry milkshake. Do not recommend. Not enough ice cream and was watery consistency.
– Swiss Mushroom Bacon burger. Very tasty. Got a bit squished on the trip to my table. 1/3 lb burger (see picture).
– Poutine! Tasty and gravy spread well. Wasn’t as hot as I’d like but still enjoyable.
Staff was really friendly and the atmosphere was nice.
Will be coming back to try the other food

Excellent burgers and sweet potato fries. Great milkshakes too. Not cheap but what is these days? You get what you pay for, at least at this place. Service is super friendly, casual, and welcoming.
Will choose a table towards the back next time. Quite chilly near the windows.
