Amazing food, huge menu & beautiful beachside vibe!
Review:
We had such a great experience at Eddie’s Place at Nopal Beach! The menu is massive with tons of options (Mexican, seafood, Lebanese-style dishes), and everything we ordered was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented.
The shrimp dishes were incredible, the soup was rich and comforting, and the fajitas were sizzling and packed with flavour. Portions were generous, and everything tasted homemade. You can tell they really care about quality here.
The atmosphere is perfect for a relaxed beachside meal — lush greenery, open air, and a laid-back vibe that makes you want to linger. Great spot for families, groups, or a casual night out.
One thing that really stood out was the music. The entertainment was a perfect blend of popular songs, playing softly in the background. It created such a nice vibe — upbeat enough to feel fun and lively, but still calm and relaxed so you could easily enjoy conversation at the table. It added so much to the overall experience without being overwhelming.
Service was friendly and attentive, and we never felt rushed. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a long, laid-back dinner while soaking in the beach atmosphere.
Service was friendly and welcoming, and the food came out quickly. This is definitely a must-visit if you’re staying around Nopal Beach. We’ll be back!

Great food, tons of options and super friendly service. We started with coconut shrimp that came out so hot we could hardly eat them. I had the molcajete which was fantastic. My wife raved about her Mahi Mahi. We were so stuffed we could not even get desert. All of this for an amazing low price with live music. Please note, this is cash only!

The shrimp burger here is one of the best things I ate in Puerto Vallarta. I would recommend making a reservation as it is an extremely busy place at dinner time. Value for price is great as well.

Wow, this place was amazing. Located in Nuevo Nayarit. Although according to the staff, Eddie passed away a few years ago, this place continues to provide excellent food at a very reasonable price. Please try the margaritas they are huge when you order a large! Also the chips and dip they bring to the table, of the three the avocado cream sauce which looks like a green goddess dressing is unbelievable.

This place came highly recommended for those who are staying at Vidanta if you wantedbto get more for your money. The cost is less and you get larger portions. We went around 3pm. They have a large outdoor bearing area. We are indoors to take advantage of the AC. The indoor seating is a smaller space. The service was great, very friendly and the food was served fast. The coconut shrimp was very good especially with the dipping sauce they offer. I had the carne asada burrito and Tamara had their popular dish( I can’t remember the name but see the pics). We really enjoyed our time here and highly recommend it.

We were “locked in” in the Vidanta Resort, this is the closest option for walking off the resort and trying something else. food was good and prices are decent. would go again if ever in the area. Kids also enjoyed it. Reservation would have been recommended as it seemed busy, but we were well accommodated anyway.

We came over from Vidanta to save about 2/3 of cost for a better experience. We didn’t attempt the walk down the beach, but the taxi ride was only about 12 bucks each way. The food wasn’t as good as we found in Malecon, but it is closer. Their Mexican coffee for after dinner was superb, and the whole restaurant stopped to watch the performance. Our server was Ricardo and he did a great job.

Fantastic experience at Eddie’s Place in Nuevo Vallarta. Drinks were excellent, kids’ meals were solid, and the entrées were very well done. Service was attentive and friendly without hovering.
We ventured over from Vidanta and were glad we did. The marina atmosphere, shopping nearby, and overall vibe made it a great change of pace. Well worth the trip and highly recommended.

On a long walk from our rental condo…we happened upon this place. We ordered the mai Mai grilled tacos and a couple margaritas. WOW.. the tacos where so good along with the service and pricing is very very reasonable. A week later we had friends come down to visit us and the second night (Friday) we took them to Eddie’s.. Once again we were not disappointed..there was also live music that night and the weather and background was perfect. We did not have a reservation but they fit us in..I would highly recommend this place and we will probably go again before we leave to go back home.

The place to go if you need an American Expat hit. The margaritas and food were good but not spectacular. Not a place to go for authentic Mexican (although I get authentic Mexican home). We were seated by the boats and the raw sewage smell kept wafting n so that was no bueno. And really the atmosphere was that of a parking lot since we were surrounded by cars.
