This place is absolutely amazing with authentic Italian food. The owner Tina whom I met tonight as she greeted us outside was very friendly and polite. You would never think that an owner would be so involved out on the floor and making sure that all her customers are happy. The food was amazing. I found my go to spot for Italian down the Jersey shore. You won’t be disappointed .

My family and I go to Ebby’s all the time and absolutely love it! Make sure to put your name in early /make a reservation because they fill up quick. Have always sat outside which is great too. The food is amazing, always fresh and hot when it comes out. The portions are big and perfect for leftovers the next day. The drinks are also amazing. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I had the chicken parm with vodka sauce and my friends had the gnocchi and the sea bass special last time we went and everything was great. Good value too – all meals come with bread and a salad.

Is it really small or just way too many tables crammed inside? I suggest sitting outside for some elbow room. However, it’s a bit of a journey to get to the bathrooms from outside. The place could be cleaner, particularly the floors. The service is not that great. Their sauce is pretty good. (I’m an Italian that makes my own so I’m pretty critical) I must say, one of the best eggplant parms I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Sliced super thin, with a perfect blend of ingredients. The stuffed artichoke was dry and tasteless. Seemed like it was reheated too many times. Reasonable prices for the Jersey shore.

FANTASTIC PLACE. Hubby took me here for the first time recently (it was his second time, he was looking forward to going back as well as showing it to me). Awesome food, drinks, atmosphere, and people who work there are all lovely, especially the owner/host Tina she was a true doll. She took wonderful care of us and also made the time to chat despite how busy they were. Also saw her wishing greetings to lots of other customers. We later met her husband/co-owner as well who was equally as warm and lovely.

Let’s start with the atmosphere this time. It was very crowded and loud. Tables are as close as you can get, and walkways are not much better. Having a conversation with your guests is difficult, and then to top it off, a DJ comes in and makes it even louder. What is the thought behind a DJ with no room to dance?? Appetizers were good, meatballs, Italian style calamari, and octopus.

Had a reservation for 8 pm and we were told to wait. Waited until 930 pm at the bar until finally leaving. We checked multiple times with the hostess while we were waiting who refused to seat us. The bartender outside was great, super busy but still able to get everyone their drinks in a timely manner.

Good food and the service was great but watch and ask for the price of the food on there special list. They don’t tell you how much the dish will cost. Ask for the prices. This halibut and risotto dish that was on there special list, that was read to me by the server, was $42.00. I did not think it was worth it.

First time there. FYI–make a reservation, especially in summer!!! So went without a reservation but since there was only 2 people were able to sit at the bar. Ladies, they have hangers under the bar for purses (this is a big plus). Anyway, staff were vary friendly and attentive. Menu seems a little limited but did have some nice choices. Ordered Paparedelle AL Fresco (shrimp,spinach,artichoke,roasted peppers, cream sauce). Had 6 lg. shrimp. Could have used more artichoke to offset some of the cream sauce, but overall very nice. Also had Shrimp Fra Diablo over Linguini. Large shrimp, and spicy, but not burning. My companion said “This is how sauce should taste”. It was Really Good. Both dinners came with small salad and bread. Very impressed with the food and service. Only reason I gave it 4 stars…Expensive, (for me anyway). Dinners range from $24-$30. Drinks aren’t cheep (beer on tap $6.50). Also, I find it fascinating that restaurants are charging for club soda (since it’s only carbonated water that they already use to mix with soda syrup). But I don’t run a restaurant, so I don’t know what their operating costs are (giving benefit of doubt). I wouldn’t make this a regular thing, but maybe 2 or 3 times a year only due to expense. Definitely worth going to, but make a reservation, and in summer…parking is horrible!!!

We love Ebby’s!! The food is amazing and the drinks are great too. Highly recommend the garlic vinegar chicken and the eggplant parm. It is our favorite restaurant at the Jersey Shore!!
