Dining at Ebbe was an unforgettable experience. I don’t usually gravitate toward seafood, but since it’s a Michelin-rated restaurant, I went in with an open mind—and I’m so glad I did. Every single dish was amazing and absolutely delicious. The flavors were thoughtful, balanced, and beautifully presented.
Ebbe and Noree were incredibly kind and welcoming, and you can truly tell they know exactly what they’re doing. Their passion and expertise shine through in every detail of the experience.
I can’t wait to visit them in Bangkok one day.

Creative, decadent, fun, delicious. From the moment we entered, the service was attentive and friendly. The large chef’s counter is great for both large parties as well as being able to feel intimate with your date. Chef Ebbe is a true craftsman and will go as deep into the dishes as you’d like. This was an outstanding date night. Every dish was prepared with care and style. There is a good story behind each dish. There were 2 tasting menus to choose from. The chef’s did an amazing job with the presentation and taste profile. I really enjoyed the Scandinavian influence behind the dishes. All the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Different cooks would bring out different dishes and chat which made you feel welcome and cozy. This restaurant definately deserves its michelin star! Will visit again for sure.

This place was unique for sure. Their attention to detail on the food presentation was on point. The staff was highly engaged and knowledgeable. The best part was the chef walking around to explain the dishes and history.

We also had the non alcoholic pairing and the juices were fresh and perfect addition to the dishes.

Cannot wait to come back!

Amazing meal. Certainly one of the best prix fixe meals I’ve had. I dined solo and because I dined solo, I found the layout particularly attractive, but I’m not sure I would have felt that way had I been dining with someone else – you sit side-by-side, which is great for a date and okay for some other situations. Back to the food and service … I’m not going to dig out my menu – you guys can look at the website. I had the 10 course meal. Regardless of the quality of the restaurant, I despise stuffy dining. I don’t mind putting on nice clothes, but I hate pretense. I found staff to be welcoming and relaxed. The food was superb every dish was prepared perfectly – I had favorites, but all were excellent. Personally, I don’t care about additional stars since there is more focus on service and extraneous items for additional Michelin stars – if it is food you are interested in, Ebbe is outstanding.

Every bite I had was very good. Complex flavors and combinations. Beautiful wine pairings. Gracious hosts. Chef Ebbe even came out himself to chat with us and serve us his signature dish personally. What a lively culinary experience ! Best I’ve had in a long while.

100% the place to go for a special, quiet and enjoyable dinner. The prestige menu was fabulous, and the wine pairings were right on par. My wife and I brought our 4 month old and the atmosphere was so nice, she just slept the whole time so we were able to enjoy. Our server Hannah was phenomenal and made sure our experience was special as this was our dinner for both of our birthdays which fall on the same week. I would recommend EBBE 10x over the bad experience and treatment I received from Lilac just the night before.

My only complaint is their “pay ahead” system, which seemed to have glitched somehow in regards to our receipt and left us unable to leave the server a tip on the card, which just did not sit right with me after spending $1000 on food and receiving such wonderful service from Hannah, so I was sure to tip in cash.

Incredible food experience unlike any other in Tampa Bay. The menu speaks for itself, but what I enjoyed most was that the restaurant is completely run by the chefs. They are the hosts, servers, and dishwashers. The love they pour into each dining experience is evident and I loved how they felt part of my dinner and were there to share their knowledge of each dish.

I am extremely disappointed with our experience at this Michelin-starred restaurant.

On January 14, 2026, we booked and fully paid for a dinner reservation for two for February 17, 2026 at 7:00 PM. The following week, I called the restaurant and personally spoke with the chef to confirm that our reservation was secured and that the payment had gone through. He confirmed both. During that conversation, he even spoke enthusiastically about the wine pairings that would be available for us to review that evening.

On February 17, we drove one hour to the restaurant, only to arrive and find it completely closed. There were no signs posted and no indication online that they were not operating. In fact, the website still lists the restaurant as open.

We called and spoke with the chef, who told us that our reservation was not on his books and that no one was scheduled to dine that evening so he closed. This was shocking, especially after personally confirming the reservation and payment weeks earlier. A refund was issued when we requested it, but that does not make up for the wasted time, fuel, and what was supposed to be a special evening.

For a Michelin-starred establishment, the lack of organization and communication is unacceptable. While mistakes can happen, the complete breakdown in reservation management — after direct confirmation — is deeply concerning.

I hope they take steps to improve their booking and communication processes so that no other guests experience the same disappointment.

April 11, 2024: We got to dine here 1 week before they were officially given their Michelin Star. We really didn’t know what to expect since we’ve never had Scandinavian before. Yes it’s pricey, as expected when you choose to go to a restaurant like this, but the experience and food was amazing. It’s called Chef’s Counter because the 5 chefs do everything there. No preppers, servers, etc. Chef Nate was amazing in his descriptions of the wines and food and his personality is perfect to be doing so. I highly recommend it especially for a special occasion.
