Starting with the Cajun chicken pasta which was a showstopper. It was perfectly cooked, extremely well-seasoned, and bursting with all flavor. All guests would not stop talking about how good it was. People kept coming back for seconds which didn’t last. There was nothing left, which says everything you need to know.
The graduation cake was just as amazing. Not only was it beautiful, but it tasted incredible as well. Every slice was moist, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Guests were genuinely blown away by both the presentation and taste. It was exceptional service and communication. From start to finish, she was professional, attentive, and intentional. She constantly checked in with me to make sure the cake was exactly how I envisioned it, asking for my input and making sure every detail was right. I never felt rushed or overlooked and she truly cared about delivering exactly what I wanted. On top of that, she personally took the time to deliver the food, which made the entire experience even more stress-free.
If you are looking for a catering service that delivers amazing food, beautiful presentation, outstanding communication, and genuine care, I highly recommend Eat’z With Sunshine!
Eatz’ with Sunshine is simply top-tier catering—period.
I had the pleasure of working with Eatz’ with Sunshine for two separate events in 2025—my family member’s baby shower and my family’s annual Christmas party—and both experiences were nothing short of phenomenal.
Let’s talk about the food first, because… whew.
The shrimp Alfredo was rich, creamy, and perfectly seasoned—comfort food done right, not heavy, not bland, just smooth and satisfying. The Million Dollar Spaghetti absolutely lived up to its name—layered, flavorful, and crowd-pleasing in the best way. At the baby shower, the Cajun pasta brought just the right amount of kick without overpowering the dish, and the fried wings at the Christmas party? Crispy, well-seasoned, and gone before I could blink. Add in the mac and cheese, corn, fresh salad, fruit, and punch—and every menu item felt intentional and well-executed.
But here’s where Eatz’ with Sunshine really separates itself from the pack: the service and presentation.
The tablescape was beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully arranged—giving both events a polished, elevated feel. Everything was set up seamlessly, on time, and with excellence. No chaos. No scrambling. Just smooth execution.
The owner and her staff were incredibly professional, warm, organized, and attentive. You could tell they genuinely cared about the experience—not just the food. They moved with confidence, grace, and a spirit of excellence that made hosting stress-free for me as the client.
Bottom line:
If you’re looking for catering that delivers delicious food, stunning presentation, and impeccable service, Eatz’ with Sunshine is it. I’ve trusted them twice, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book them again. This isn’t just catering—it’s an experience.
Highly recommend.
I paid $2,300 for catering for 30 guests, although only 25 attended. Despite this, we ran out of plates and flatware, which required two of my guests to leave the event to purchase them. Several items outlined in the contract were either missing or altered without prior agreement.
Key concerns included:
Food substitutions without consent: A dish labeled as “seafood pasta” was actually shrimp pasta. Seafood pasta was what I ordered. Additionally, another dish was labeled shrimp pasta, which I did not order at all.
Missing or altered accompaniments: Bread that was supposed to accompany a dip was replaced with chips without notice.
Missing contracted items: Plates and flatware included in the contract were not fully provided.
Cake issues: The cake arrived melted and did not include the agreed-upon inscription. I received a blank cake.
During breakdown, I received multiple reports of rudeness toward guests. Unlike the other vendors, the owner did not approach me before leaving the venue.
Additionally, after I paid the final balance via PayPal, I was asked to cancel the payment and resend it using a different method due to processing fees, which raised concerns. I was initially told the account was closed and the funds could not be retrieved. PayPal later confirmed this was untrue. Fortunately, I submitted the payment as Goods & Services, which allowed me to file a dispute. PayPal ruled in my favor based on documented inconsistencies and evidence. I was refunded $1,434 and allowed the vendor to retain $866.
I rarely leave reviews, but transparency matters.
This experience caused unnecessary stress on an important milestone day that took years to plan. The issue was not the taste of the food; it was the breaking of the contract, lack of professionalism, poor communication, and lack of organization.
I recommend that future clients ask very clear questions, ensure all details are documented in writing, and protect themselves by using Goods & Services when submitting payment.
Moving forward, I hope you treat all customers fairly and with integrity and use this experience to adjust your business practices accordingly.
First and foremost, the food was delivered over an hour late, which caused significant inconvenience for our event. The late delivery disrupted our schedule and left our guests waiting hungrily. To make matters worse, there were multiple trips made by the delivery team, which only added to the chaos.
Communication throughout this ordeal was extremely poor. We were left in the dark about the status of our delivery , and there was no proactive effort to keep us informed of the delays or issues.
In an attempt to address the situation, she initiated a partial refund. However, this was simply not enough to rectify the problems we encountered. To add insult to injury, they offered a $50 refund of the delivery fee, which felt like a token gesture and did not reflect the extent of our inconvenience.
It’s disappointing when a business fails to meet basic expectations of timeliness, communication, and customer satisfaction. We had hoped for a much better experience, especially considering the price we paid for their catering service.
In conclusion, I would caution others considering this catering service to be wary of potential issues with punctuality and communication. While we appreciate some effort to resolve the situation, it ultimately fell short of what we believe should be expected in the catering industry.
