The portion sizes of the food are so so huge that you will always get your money’s worth. The food is tasty, portions are enormous, and the people are sweet and care. I live on the other side of Richmond and still make the trip to get here.

This was my first and last visit to this establishment. I ordered shrimp fried rice and it had no taste, the rice looked disgusting, like it had been reheated over and over. Used door dash while staying at a hotel nearb y with a 45 minute to 1 hour wait. The bag looked rough on the outside, however the contents on the inside were perfectly safe.
I ordered honey chicken, shrimp lol mein, sugar donuts, and some extra egg rolls.
The honey chicken was fresh, and had some flavor to it.
The lo mein was hot and ready to eat, with plenty of shrimp on the inside, and flavorful noodles.
The shrimp egg rolls were PERFECT in slight crunch with light chew consistency. The ingredients were delicious on the inside too.
Also had some spring rolls in the bag as well, a pair.
The spring rolls had the perfect crunch, we’re not soggy with grease at all, and enjoyable.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I heard a good review about Eat Rice today, so I had to check it out. It was horrible! The fried rice didn’t have any flavor. The general tso chicken and the crispy honey chicken were both overcooked, the meat was touch, and consisted of more thick breading than chicken.
The meat was so tough that I couldn’t chew it all the way and had to spit it out. Just when you’re thinking that you’re getting a nice piece of chicken, it was the breading cooked hard and coated in sauce.
There are only two tables to sit at and they each only have 2 chairs. There are at least 4 chairs up against the wall and there is no public restroom for customers. So washing your hands before you eat …..will not happen there. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED AND SAD THAT I DIDN’T GET MY MONEY’S WORTH!

It’s a hood favorite. The food is always decent. The cashier lady is a bit short but in her defense, she seemed overwhelmed. If you order delivery through a 3rd party your driver might have to wait longer than usual. The lobby area could use some work. They used to have tables lined up if you wanted to eat inside. There are still tables but not as organized. Despite all that the food is always solid, trust me.
