The fried pickles are definitely my favorite but the fish is some of the best catfish I’ve ever had! The batter is light and crispy, the fish is tender, and the atmosphere just feels welcoming. Brett always makes me feel at home and he jokes about us having the same last name, even though we aren’t related he sure makes me feel like family! I sure do love the Cantrell location!

We were in town for a conference and decided to try out Eat My Catfish. Wonderful experience! They accommodated our large group with no notice. The food came out quickly and was amazing! Tasted so good and fresh! Large portions too! The manager, Brett, checked on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely go back any time we are in town!

You know a place is good when you’re planning your next visit before you even finish your plate. Everything from the catfish to the sweet tea was on point! This was my first time coming in and I wasn’t sure on what to get. Brett took my order and suggested I try a little of everything and when I tell you this place has the BEST hush puppies I’ve ever had! Brett’s recommendations didn’t disappoint and this will be my new go to fish place and I’ll definitely be asking for extra hush puppies!

Passing through the area and popped in to try the catfish. Restaurant is a local chain. We enjoyed the food – the batter was light and well seasoned. Staff were also very friendly. I would pop in again if ever passing through in the future!

I had my first visit to this catfish restaurant and overall, it was a great experience. The food was really good—especially the coleslaw, which was delicious. The mac & cheese could’ve used a bit more flavor, but it was still decent. The catfish was seasoned very well and tasted great, though I think it could’ve been fried just a little longer for that extra crispy texture. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better.

Our server , Sam, also took our orders at the counter. He was knowledgeable about the menu and handled my 2 orders well. He came three times to check our table for needs. The owner also came to see us and ask me about the boiled crawfish I had. Only problem was they were small and these were my first of the season.
