The people there are great, but I came for the pizza, $20 for a small pizza, not happy, but I was hoping for great flavor for such a price. Nope, the sauce, taste like it just came out of a can, no spice what so ever. Looks like a great pizza, the sausage n pepperoni are big, can’t taste any onions or green peppers. This is an American pizza, if that’s what you like, then this is for you, but if you want spice, not here. Great people

East Side Pizzeria is awesome, and they serve way more than just pizza. Just look at the menu that goes on and on, and on. Everyone can find something that they like, and they’ll be back for more. They have mile high burgers, with crispy bacon, onion, a beef patty grilled to perfection; you will be so amazed that you won’t know where to bite first.
But save some room for desert, because their cheesecake, with whipped cream and sauce slowly cascading down the sides, oh, it is melt-in-your-mouth delicious!
And bring your nephew or niece, because the kids get freshly baked cookies with their meal. And those cookies will remind you of your childhood, how your Momma used to bake them for you after you got home from school. Now you have two options: you can haggle with the kid to give you one of those cookies, or you can buy your own, and eat all of them by yourself. (Be a good aunt or uncle, and let the kid have their cookies, and you’ll get a new nickname, like ”Bestest Auntie/Uncle in the whole World!”)
So, get yourself to East Side Pizzeria ASAP, if you come by a Rolls-Royce – they’ll serve you, if you come by a truck – they’ll serve you, if you come by a Harley Davidson – they’ll serve you, and even if you come by a bicycle – they’ll serve you, too. Because they are good people, and they cook delicious food!

This place holds the heart of the east side complete with its characters and soul. This was our first time eating here and the quality of the food did not disappoint. We ordered an extra large 16” sausage and pepperoni pizza, which was about $20. The crust was very crispy and thin and so delicious. The sausage was super good and better than what I was expecting. It had plenty of homestyle pizza sauce, a ton of flavorful and soft mozzarella, and very little grease. I highly recommend this gem! Plenty of seating to eat inside.

Eastside Pizzeria is more than a eccentric dining experience. It’s foundation is built on multiple facets of Community Integrity and Outreach. From hiring staff who are actively in recovery and or working a recovery based program, providing quality food at an affordable price, to sponsoring many other eastside businesses to help promote and produce eastside generated income and awareness to our eastside businesses. They also utilize the kitchen out of the Arcade-Phalen American Legion Post #577 and have Active and open Hall Rentals for Events, Celebrations of life, private parties etc. And offer catering. So as I said in the beginning, they are a not JUST a pizzeria, they are a continuing pillar in our Eastside Community.

As a huge pizza fan and someone willing to drive to find all the little mom and pop places I regret not finding this place earlier.
Pizza was great with a thick hearty sauce and an amazing crust that held up with all the cheese/sauce and toppings!! Great blend of flavors with nothing over powering and they all played well with each other. That’s a great thing in the pizza world. Check these guys out if ya already haven’t.
Staff was super friendly and owner seemed pretty cool as well and friendly. ✌

Been craving a pizza with good flavor, great sauce, and a great crust and have struggled ever since moving into the south st. paul area. Pulling up i was a little timid looking from the street as their sign is broken and very dim exterior lighting. However the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The bread had great garlic flavor and the pizza was just perfect. Great amount of sauce to cheese ratio and the crust was crisp with great flavor. Definitely will be back again shortly

This is how me and my wife received our food last night called the management. She hung up in our face and told us she will give us a credit called back the next day. They said no credit was given sauces mixed in all of my food when we order the delivery drivers are really sketchy on some type of drugs or something scared to pull out money. We don’t know if they will robbed us. This place has been terrible for years we are calling the Better Business Bureau, these people
