We order occasionally because they’re super close by, not because they’re great food.
Their lo mein is decent but usually needs more seasoning. The vegetable lo mein is better than the pork because the pork is usually really dried out.
Tonight most of my chicken fingers were inedible. They were either hard and tough, both the breading and the chicken, or they were these weird balls of chicken (not “fingers”) and dough that wasn’t fully cooked.
Honestly, the hard ones looked like they were old ones that they just re-fried to make them hot again.
I cannot imagine trusting raw fish from this place.
I think it’s time we start driving a little farther for better quality.

I love the food here! My boyfriend and I get takeout here quite often and the food is always delicious! Occassionally we’ll dine in and it’s always really nice. They are also great with my peanut and tree nut allergy. They are always very on top of giving warnings if a food wont be safe, which I greatly appreciate, and are very on top of keeping my orders safe.

Was looking for some great Chinese in the Rochester area sadly I didn’t find it here. We love spicy food and ordered our trusted dishes of Mongolian Beef and Chicken with garlic sauce. These are both identified as Hot and Spicy in the menu. They came out overly sweet and had absolutely not spice at all. The dishes were fresh and reasonably plentiful and may appeal to those wholesome like overly sweet dishes.
The egg rolls were equally as disappointing consisting of an overly thick wrapper heavily stuffed with cabbage, again soulless with little other additives.
Service was rushed, non-attentive. I tired to make eye contact for refills and even that was difficult. We won’t be back…

My girl and I have been going here for years for just basic chinese food and drinks.. That being said, I ordered something different, Basil chicken which I have had from other restaurants in the past. Gotta say, the food was on point, very good.. however our server/bartender was more focused on the team he bet on instead of his patrons. That being said, the other 95% of the time we are there, the employees are there for us.. (I mean they should be there for their customers, and that also creates better tips for them.) We will continue going there, but that employee needs to be more attentive. This review is only geared towards the one employee, don’t know his name, but he needs to stop taking shots with customers and not be worried if the team he bet on will win or not… This is an honest post.

Ordered takeout and got 4 dishes. Chicken fingers, egg rolls, pork fried rice and moo goo gai pan. The chicken fingers were ok but the rest was very bad. Rice was tasteless with little pork, egg rolls as well . But the worst was the moo goo gai pan which didn’t look like chicken. Spent almost 50 dollars and will never go back. Not recommended

I really like the food here but I’m basic and mostly eat singapore noodles. I don’t recall any bad experiences when it comes to the food BUT I have had several bad experiences with the level of cleanliness in the dining room. I experienced sticky tables, sticky floors and dirty, fly-ridden tables more than once. I had stopped going to them for several years because I was so disgusted with their dining room. I hesitantly went back a year or so ago with a friend and sat in the bar area with him and it was like night and day. They keep the bar area very clean and functional. Since then, I always sit in the bar. We frequently order their sushi and singapore noodles and we have been happy every time. The only downside about the bar is the bartenders get pissed when you sit at the bar and don’t order drinks…. which I get. That’s where all the money is, but trust, I would defer to the dining room if I could. I tip heavily to compensate for the lack of liquor I order, but sometimes I’m not in the mood for the ‘tude. Overall, when I’m in the mood for chinese and not in the mood to drive to dover, this spot is my go-to!

Eastern Paradise is always great! I especially appreciate their festive atmosphere for Christmas this year, we had a great time a few days ago. The restaurant felt super welcoming. They had Christmas music playing, lots of decorations, etc. Thank you for enjoying the holiday spirit and all the delicious food! Their crab rangoons are my favorite all year round. Highly recommend!

The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because I got the pu pu platter And I like shrimp on it and I don’t think they have any of that. But it was good and the people are friendly.
