I was planning on getting pancakes today but was told they were all out. How can a breakfast place on a Sunday morning at 8am be out of pancakes? My second option was the French toast. Was sort of good, some of the toast were completely saturated (soggy) and others not. Made it a very interesting texture.

We were very excited to see a new restaurant in town and happen know the owners. We tried them out for breakfast recently and I was blown away by the quality of the food. What seemed like relatively normal breakfast fare on the menu was absolutely elevated with home made ingredients and whatever seasoning blends they are using in the kitchen. Service was fast and courteous even though it was slammed and still a new operation. Highly recommend you try them out if in the area!

I’ve been to Chute’s many times and the last few years it’s gone through many owner/chef changes. However, it’s still such a great place to go. So nice and yummy! Super loaded up! As a half southern girl I was fairly impressed by the biscuits and gravy! Amazing donut too.

We had a nice meal. My 2ife had a 3 egg omelette with toast and beans. I had a steak onions pepper sandwich on gluten free bread. Very good meal and service with a smile.

I came here when they first opened and thought they were expensive and the food was just ok. I decided to give them another try and my opinion has not improved. Food was pretty good, but definitely overpriced, and the waitress forgot my meal. We went with 3 people, she brought out 2 meals and asked if we needed anything else. I said, Yeah, my meal. She had to ask what I ordered and it came out when everyone else was almost done eating. They didn’t charge us for the drinks to make up for the mistake. I also noticed a general lack of attention to detail – I ordered scrambled eggs, and she had to come back and ask what kind of eggs (not a big deal, just an example), there appeared to be lipstick remnants on my coffee mug, and my water glass also had a dirty spot.

This review is for Eastern Harvest Cafe in Casco,ME, not for Chute’s. Wonderful food! Good service! Huge portion and great prices. We left full and satisfied and with leftovers! The location was convenient with a big parking lot. There is an inside and outdoor seating area and a bar area. The “McBenny” & “Bugs” were delicious and so were the pancakes. And the HASH! Sooo good! Can’t wait to return to try some more of the awesome menu!

After being seated, nobody came over to the table for over 30 minutes. When we finally ordered, we were told (after another 25 minutes) that the food hadn’t been started yet and would be another 30 min. Disappointing experience.
