AVOID this place if at all possible. That’s the best way to describe it. You pay before you sit, which is usually a red flag itself. Then they give you a cup, a relatively small one, to get your own drinks (Pepsi products) that taste weird. The selection is limited, even more so during lunch. There wasn’t a single pork or beef dish anywhere. Many dishes they ran out of and never restocked the entire time I was there. But, $15 got me the buffet and a drink. You can get full, for cheap, just don’t have high, or even any, expectations.

My daughter and I were looking for a place to eat for lunch after visiting Cabela’s when meeting a friend. My daughter got excited about this place because they had sushi.
Parking lot was slightly full, but surprisingly there was no line at the door. Took a short bit to find a seat.
We did the buffet for lunch. Most of the food in the buffet was nice and hot, some things were not. I was kind of sad that they didn’t have any fried rice. They only had vegetable rice and vegetable lo mein.
They had a nice variety of different things to choose from to eat and enjoy.
We also enjoyed the dessert table.
Overall, my daughter and I were very pleased with our lunch today.

Decent place for the price if you enjoy buffet style Asian food. Not sure why people are saying they use paper plates because they don’t. Yeah you have to get your own beverage but now you don’t have to tip either. Yes they have beef products I’m not sure why someone said they don’t. Typical Asian buffet nothing special.

Echo the similar reviews. Good food and a large variety! They do have a waiter charge for large groups (added $1 on to every single order). Service was good, but was not supper attentive.
They have some pretty nice hours for flexible eating. They also have a nice lunch option to weigh food for take-out. I would check then out!

Came in with high expectations from previous visits. Left today with very low expectations, the food quality is not up to standards for $30. Not enough variety of food, but the food there has no quality. The lomein noodles were just spaghetti noodles with barely any sauce so no flavor etc. The ice cream tasted like dirty dish water, and i tried multiple flavors.

Most of the food is pretty good; however, I’m not a fan of the ice cream. Nothing is super hot(spice wise). Great service and clean building even though it lacked decorations. Great place for large groups.

Refill drinks were in a dirty corner by broken tea machines. Workers seem nervous for unknown reasons. Food like all other Chinese buffet.

We’ve been coming to East Wind Buffet since it first opened—before we even had our daughter. Now she’s 16, and this place has become part of our family’s story. One of the staff members even held her when she was a baby, and to this day, they still remember her and ask how my wife and daughter are when I come in alone. That kind of memory and genuine care is rare, and it speaks volumes about the people who run this place.
East Wind isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a family-run business that takes pride in both their food and their service. You can tell they enjoy what they do, and that energy makes the experience even better. I love seeing the same familiar, smiling faces every time I walk in. Through the years—even through COVID—they’ve adapted, survived, and stayed just as welcoming.
The food? Always delicious. My only wish is that they’d serve the vegetable chow mein more often throughout the day, but even that small gripe doesn’t take away from how much I enjoy eating here. The buffet is well-maintained, the variety is solid, and everything is fresh.
While they no longer top off drink refills, you can still grab your own, which doesn’t bother me one bit. Coupons are still available in the store and in the shopper, and I take full advantage whenever I can—never a bad deal here.
I also make a point to come on holidays like Christmas or Thanksgiving—not just because the food’s great, but because I want to support a local business that’s given us so many good memories. East Wind Buffet has become a tradition in our lives, and it still hits the spot every single time.
