First time ordering from this place. We enjoyed what we ordered. Vegetables were all fresh and food was cooked right. A pic of what we ordered is attached.. Only item we might have preferred to order in the restaurant was the Sizzling Chicken.. just cause when its received via a delivery its no longer sizzling 🙂 .. otherwise will definitely order from these guys again

Ordered takeaway last night, so can’t comment on the atmosphere for dine-in. I’ve ordered from here twice in the past few years. First experience was neither good nor bad.
Last night’s order was downright bad.
Chicken fried rice. Not bad. Actually better than some other local Chinese restaurants.
Beef lo mein: disappointing. Noodles were clumpy, and beef wasn’t browned. Loads of sliced garlic in the dish.
Chicken Chow Mein was average .
Beef and broccoli was cooked the same as the lo mein, with way too much sliced garlic in it
Chicken balls were below par and didn’t have that fluffy dough ball. Very dense. Sweet and sour sauce… Wasn’t. Mostly sweet, no sour – and my wife and I both swear ketchup was used as a base. Disappointing
General tau chicken was a train wreck. Overcooked deep friend breaded chicken strips were tough to chew, and the sauce was… Not there.
Chicken soo guy was the same deep fried chicken strips as the general tau chicken (not the breaded chicken breast other restaurants prepare) the “gravy”… Wasn’t. It had some spice in the gravy too, which made no sense. No almonds on the chicken either. Unauthentic.
Egg rolls were below average for any run of the mill Chinese restaurant.
Vegetables seemed fresh in all the dishes, so there’s that.
All in all, disappointed for a $100 order. Will I buy from here again? No.
I do not recommend even trying them out.

I should have read the reviews before ordering. This was the most disgusting food I’ve ever eaten. The Tao chicken tasted like bbq sauce and vinegar and the chicken was questionable in this and the chow mein. The rice was hard and crispy like it was a week old. It all got thrown out.

Stop for super friendly and very helpful but food is absolute garbage. Please do not eat here. It is gross. Complete waste of money not even slightly edible but again people are super friendly very lovely if they had any other business, I would definitely return, but they should not be feeding people or animals for that matter.

We ordered Uber eats from here and it was very good. Portion size was right, flavour and temp were good even with the delivery time. We would order from here again for sure.

We have eaten at East Side Village for over 5 years now. Their spring rolls are amazing, perfectly seasoned, huge, obviously homemade. Since I’m a vegetarian I order these frequently. Today we ordered for the first time in a while and received small, obviously not homemade spring rolls. We opened them up and they had little balls of meat inside. We asked for new ones to be delivered and after one delivery mistake we finally got our order (around two hours after having picked up our food). Turns out, these have meat in them too! I didn’t think to check before biting in, so thanks for that East Side. We called to complain and the manager “swore to God” that the only thing in them were carrots, onions, and cabbage and she knew this because it was on the box in the freezer (seriously…… Why would you say that?). Couldn’t explain whatever these were and wouldn’t read the ingredient box. So. Frozen spring rolls. No quality control. Not the same East Side Village since it changed owners. Do not go here.

Nothing about my order was good. I wish I took a picture before I threw it out. The “chicken” fried rice was extremely dry and almost crunchy? The chicken was shredded and placed on top almost like a garnish. The spring rolls were so mushy and undercooked with almost no flavor. The wonton soup was extremely disappointing. No flavor at all. I should have looked at the reviews before ordering. $27 dollars in the garage.

Extremely disappointed, we tossed 2 orders of cantonese chowmein and 2 spring rolls on the road side for the raccoons.
Absolutely disgusting food. There was no flavor to the chowmein, it was bland and worst of all the chicken had a slimy texture. Not the thick cantonese chowmein style sauce texture, but it’s own nasty slimy goo. The spicy spring rolls would have been okay if they were not extremely salty. The lemon chicken, albeit very dry wasn’t the worst thing ever. 56$ down the drain.
I’m not one for writing bad reviews and prefer to do a good review when an establishment deserves it, but this was just foul, disgusting food. Don’t waste your money. I saw the decent rating but didn’t actually read the reviews. Most of the recent ones are bad and I understand why.

The beef and broccoli was extremely salty, that should never be salty at all. The beef was extremely boiled and grey with zero flavour. I will not be going back to eat there again. Very very disappointed.
