Great place to have Yum Cha for a Sunday family lunch. Great atmosphere, the place is full of life. The food keeps on coming with many choices. Great staff and very good service

We regularly visit this chain of restaurants across several locations, but won’t be going back after today’s experience.
Went for Yum Cha today, a couple of trolleys came around as soon as we arrived which was good. We then tried to get someone’s attention to place drink, staff deliberately not looking up in case they made eye contact and had to serve someone. After 15 minutes of waiting we had to get up and go over to the service area to place a drink order. We were told they would come to our table to take the order. Then the guy continued to casually clear tables and straighten things up before coming over. He clearly had no interest in serving us and looked like he was deliberately stalling. Received half of the drinks order, had to remind him about drinks, which then arrived after we had finished our meal. Did not see another trolley for the rest of the meal, everyone in our section was complaining, so we ended up leaving.
The only redeeming feature was the lady with the dessert trolley. She was so lovely, friendly and warm. You need to hire more people like her!

Some items were really good some items were really bad . The pork ribs, chicken feet and the stuffed eggplants were amazing. The fried stuff weren’t bad. The radish cakes only had starch and nothing else and was really bad.

I recently visited East Phoenix for their Yum Cha experience with a group of five, and the $260 price tag was absolutely justified. We enjoyed an impressive variety of small dishes—so many that I lost count!

Each dish was made with care, bursting with flavor, and showcased the quality and authenticity you’d expect from a top-tier Yum Cha spot. From the dumplings to the buns, every bite was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying.

If you’re searching for an authentic Yum Cha experience with excellent food quality and great value for the price, I’d highly recommend East Phoenix.

First day of CNY. This is the worst Yumcha experience I’ve ever had. Arrived 12 o’clock, only 1 hot food trolley here serving the whole area with very minimal food selections. Trolley auntie not at work mode at all, not come closer and introduce what she had with her trolley and avoid making eye contact. Even though there is eye contact, if you don’t call her they just not come closer gives a feeling of they just don’t want to serve.

This restaurant used to be my favourite yumcha place in Sydney, but won’t come back now. Service is very bad.

Service was all over the shop, but the food was a solid 11/10. Generous portions, flavour in every bite and cocktails with a bang!

My favourite part … Fortune cookies, there’s something nostalgic about it.

Had yum cha on Friday. The food was not fresh – pastry and dough was not soft and supple as it would be if fresh. The fillings lacked taste, seasoning and seemed to be missing a lot of the ingredients of the same dish in other restaurants. Would not recommend this restaurant if you want fresh, delicious food.

We went to this place in the neighborhood for dinner. The spacious place and food are great. Service is pretty attentive. Food was good, not overly top notch.
