It was my first time dining back at the East Penn diner in years and I was not disappointed. Simple menu and swift service led to quick seating for a party of 5 during peak breakfast service. Staff was friendly and attentive. I genuinely wish Google offered a 4.5 star review option as the only issue we had during service was accuracy of items ordered along with food temperature. The soup and salad bar were extremely clean as well as fresh so I would highly recommend that option if dining in. Only recommendation would be expanded menu option for larger breakfast platters (maybe a special) involving eggs, bacon, home fries/hash brown, and choice of meat such as a combo order as I did not see anything on the menu that would incorporate a full traditional breakfast. Food taste is always consistent and delicious and would highly recommend stopping in for anyone in the area or passing through!

The food was really good. I didn’t eat at the diner. I ordered to go but I still loved it. All the families looked like they were having a great time. Great atmosphere although it does get pretty busy and packed. The service is quick and all the employees are very kind and welcoming.

I tried the East Penn Diner for the first time in a while. Met because of Restaurant week, had the Bang Bang burger, excellent. Prepared just the way I like it and the waitress was wonderful. the 4 of us all agreed the food was very good. I will be recommending this Diner to my friends. On the way out i had the pleasure of meeting Odie one of the owners, what a pleasant person. Overall the experience was excellent.

My recent breakfast visit was truly delightful! The traditional Eggs Benedict was perfectly prepared and incredibly tasty. What really stood out, though, was the consistently great service we received throughout our meal. It’s always a bonus to find comfortable seating, and our booth was just right. Overall, a wonderful dining experience that I wholeheartedly recommend for breakfast. I’m already planning my next visit to explore their lunch or dinner offerings!

Pancakes were so dry I had to take a sip of my drink in between every bite. I don’t know if they expect guests to douse them in syrup, but even this didn’t help with the dryness.
Pork sausage had a processed taste… I can’t exactly put my finger on what was off putting but it was not pleasing to the tongue.
The space is very cool classic diner. Server was friendly and speedy. If only the food matched the aesthetic of the place….. I would not recommend this diner if you are looking for good quality food. Ambiance, though, is there.

Good variety of menu options. Some meals come with soup, salad bar, and fresh rolls. My recommendation if you like seafood, is to order the broiled seafood combo. You won’t be disappointed

Great classic style diner, would recommend to anyone to try this place. Been here quite a few times now with the family. I’ve always had great luck with a variety of things on their menu from breakfast to dinner.
Recently for their chorizo skillet and I was pleasantly surprised at home healthy it was between their ingredients and such as fresh veggies and lack of grease.
Always a happy and helpful staff and the value is always here with their fair prices.
Overall, this diner is a must try in the area.

We’ve been to East Penn Diner a few times now, and it consistently delivers exactly what a diner should. The food is fast, hot, tasty, and served in generous portions—all at reasonable prices.
The place truly lives up to its name. The outside has that classic old-school diner look, and the inside keeps the tradition going. Cozy booths, friendly staff, and your coffee cup is never empty—just the way it should be.
Bonus points for being open early (because breakfast places that open at 8am… why??).
Give them a try—you won’t regret it.

Nice Diner with good food and service. Stopped in for an order to go of a turkey club sandwich, fries and mozzarella sticks . The food was made fresh with quality ingredients and delicious. They have an extensive menu to choose from with fair prices. Service was fast and friendly.
