Amazing dinner experience here! My husband and I each got the 6 hand roll set plus the ikura scallop roll a la carte. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ate. Top 3 favorites are the salmon, avocado truffle and yellowtail jalapeño. The soba noodles at the end was so fresh and delicious. Ingredients are top notch, service was extremely attentive and the restaurant has a great ambience. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for an upscale hand roll place in the city.

Cozy new spot with delicious authentic Japanese food! The handrolls were all super fresh and tasty, I recommend sitting at the bar for the full experience. I got the $38 set which was the perfect balance of handrolls and soba. The soba noodles are 100% buckwheat (gluten free) which is not easy to find in restaurants! The staff were very friendly and attentive, I had a lovely time during my meal. I will definitely return to try the other handrolls!

Loved dining here at this newly reinvented East location! Really nice interior with modern finish which elevates your experience at the sushi counter where chefs expertly craft your handrolls & open handrolls. While they do have a la carte items, the real deal is in the multi-course meals where you’ll enjoy curated menus made up of an assortment of rolls, sashimi, and soba.

“66 Street” was 8 courses and I savored every bite. Everything was garnished to perfection with various toppings, sauces, and roe, and you even get an individual soy sauce dropper bottle in case you want to add a little extra onto your rolls. Way easier than trying to dip them into a dish!

It’s so great how close this is from midtown without breaking the bank. Can’t wait to try a different prix fixe menu next time!

I’m so lucky to have stumbled across this new restaurant. Exceptionally high quality, incredible hand rolls that are omakase- level fish. But the prices are far more reasonable. The soba noodles at the end of each set is a wonderful touch of magic. Can’t recommend this place enough. The service was also impeccable. This place is a gem.

Had a great dinner date here last week. Very fresh fish and the soba is perfect! unique spin on handroll with courses out tasting menus that include sashimi, soba and several of their premium end handrolls.

This is such a great deal with $38, $55 and $66 dollar options each menu price representing the streets where they had previous popular restaurants, serving these neighborhoods for decades and are back

Great spot for a fun, elevated and affordable date night

A Japanese roll-focused restaurant where you can enjoy high-end omakase–level quality in both taste and service at a very reasonable price.
Honestly, it’s even better than many upscale omakase restaurants.

I ordered the lunch special with six rolls and soba, and everything was excellent. The yellowtail hand roll was my absolute favorite.

This is definitely a place I’ll be coming back to often.

Great place! Cozy, almost serene vibes, tasty food, excellent service. Course style rolls are different enough to keep you entertained, accompanied by a good barley tea and finishing with soba bowl (we took hot soba, since it’s winter).

I’d expect a sake as a pairing, especially for dinner, but I guess it’ll come, after all they just opened.

Overall, definitely worth a visit if you are in the mood for sushi and have some time – it is not a fast joint, it needs time to experience.
