We were in town for Louisiana Half marathon and I always go for pasta as my “pre race” meal. We decided to go to DiGiulios. We ate very early (5pm) because I anticipated all runners will flock to the place and the place was packedddd by 6pm.
…and it was packed for good reason. The food was absolutely delicious. Dare I say it was one of the best vodka sauce I have tasted.
Chicken a la vodka is my go-to. The menu had Shrimp a la vodka and I asked them to add blackened chicken to it. The chicken was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The sauce was incredible. The spaghetti was mind blowing. The food was perfect.
We also got a red velvet cake and shared it. I absolutely wish I’d have gotten the tiramisu too.
Aldyn, our waitress, she was energetic and very courteous.
Overall, a great restaurant with a mood-lit (read: low light/romantic) seating area. They also had a heated/covered patio area.
I’d recommend this place!

The food here delivers on expectations, the menu is large everyone will be able to find something to their liking. The restaurant itself is small inside compared to what you will expect but the staff and guest will make you feel right at home. Our server was JP, everything i needed he was right on the spot and checked in with us regularly i never had to look for him. The drinks, appetizers and meals were great and I personally think you will love this little restaurant and the atmosphere.

Deliziosa! Tried DiGulio Brothers for the first time tonight with my family. Best Italian in Baton Rouge! The old world style sauce pops with fresh herbs and meaty tomato. The impressively large meatball holds up well with soft seasonings throughout that marry perfectly with the robust sauce. Soft, fragrant parmesean is available at the table to add at your discretion. The garlic bread was crisp and flavorful, not greasy or soggy at all. The chicken marsala was hands down the best I have had since culinary school. Full bodied, thick gravy with mushrooms, such a delight. The chocolate pie is a stand out, tasting so much like my own grandmother’s recipe from the 20s. The crust tasted almost caramelized. Service was polite and prompt. On our way out, we ran into the owner. He was very kind to us. It was so nice for him to take the time to greet us and recommend coming by for other offerings. I grew up in the country, and it’s nice when you feel like you’re conversing with a neighbor at a local business. My whole party raved about the food through the whole meal. The prices, to me, are well worth it. This establishment packs both quantity, and more importantly, quality during an age in which many people cut corners. They also were so kind to accommodate the vegetarian in our party substituting the meatball for another stuffed manicotti. They are very busy and for good reason. I saw a lot of one star reviews before I came, and I was worried, but frankly, as a former chef, a foodie, a lover of hometown comfort and family closeness, DiGulio Brothers is the whole package. Molto bene!

You have gotta try DiGiullio Brothers Italian restaurant. I have been coming here for a good 30+ years. Always great Italian food. There is seating inside, on the covered front porch, or out in the breeze and sky. I love their Italian sausage and meatballs. Today was my birthday dinner and I shared a 14″ chicken, artichoke, feta, and tomato. Shared their calamari with ranch and pasta sauce dips. They have a nice selection of drinks so basically everything you can want made at the bar.

Some restaurants just have great atmosphere and this is one. Maybe its the lighting, or the tight quarters, but it’s always a vibrant scene here. Everything I’ve tried is consistently good and they make some of the best drinks around. They don’t take reservations, but there are lots of place to have a drink while you wait. Have been going for years and will continue to go back.

Super good food, awesome waiters, great wine, nice ambience. You can’t go wrong here. My husband took me here for the first time and they had a packed house! We had to wait nearly an hour to get a table, and even then they were seats at the bar. But the wait was so worth it! They did not disappoint and the bartenders were on point with food recommendations. One of their suggestions was getting the shrimp a la vodka but substitute meatballs for the shrimp. What a great suggestion because it was perfect! Salad was a little acidic for my taste but my husband loved his. And that fried calamari was one of best calamari dishes I’ve ever had. So delicious! Overall we will definitely be back!

DiGiulio Bros has been on my list for a long time and we decided to give them a shot last night. Overall it was a very nice experience.
We arrived at 7:00 pm, just as the dinner rush was getting started, and were told that we’d have about a 30 minute wait, in all actuality it was only about 10 minutes, so we were pleasantly surprised.
We opted to sit outside and think that we got the best seat in the house for a date night. The menu was extensive and they had a wide variety of dishes ranging from small plates and sandwiches to large entrees.
Overall each dish was very good and classic Italian-American. I felt that the eggplant appetizer was a bit under seasoned, but this seemed to be isolated to the eggplant.
Serving sizes were very large, and each comes with a salad, with the option to upcharge a specialty salad for a small fee. In the future we may opt to split an entree as we each had nearly half of our entree to bring home.
I’m really excited to go back to try them for lunch.

Quaint little Italian Cafe. Dine inside in a small crowded dining room with a bar. Or, outside patio overlooking the parking lot and expressway.
The service is very good and the wine list is small and concise. The wine is very reasonably priced and nothing really over the top.
The food, on the other hand, is hit or miss. I tried the Veal Parmigiana, which I thought would be a safe and traditional dish… it was good not great. The breading was a little off, like it was cooked in old grease. The bread service is not my favorite and tonight it was stale.
The last time I had their fish special… overpriced, overcooked and very expensive.
It’s a shame because it is a great little hangout.
Maybe just go for wine & pizza.

I had an amazing experience at DiGiulio brothers Italian restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were incredibly generous. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo, and it was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had—creamy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The portion was more than enough, and every bite was rich and satisfying. My dad had the Chicken Piccata, and he really enjoyed it as well. The flavors were fresh, and the lemon-butter sauce was just the right balance of tangy and savory.
Beyond the food, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. If you’re looking for a great Italian meal, I highly recommend this place.
