Went on a packed out Fri night. Buses of retirees are constantly coming in slamming the place up & causing lines as this place isn’t real big. It’s a country fish house, & the fish is pretty good. I got the whole & fillet mix platter all u can eat. Fillets only have meat on one side, unlike we do here at the house. Fish could have lil more flavor but it’s alright for what it’s worth. They also serve seasonal crawfish which was pretty good, & a lot of folks were eating them. Side Salads are extra which they shouldn’t be. The sides of greens, hush puppies, fries, & slaw were all good.

Couldn’t be happier. Easons has always been fantastic but tonight was special. We walked in at closing time. The welcomed us 4 in with open arms. The fried green tomato’s were absolutely amazing. They were crispy and full of flavor. I ordered fish and oyster combo. The fixings were great we had greens, coleslaw and hush puppies. The fish was crispy and flavorful along with the oysters. Everyone else had shrimp. They all proclaimed that the fried and boiled shrimp are both amazing.

November 19, 2022 5 p.m., and several previous occasions since 2020. All you care to eat fish, hush puppies:, fries, cole slaw, turnip greens, onion, and iced tea. Or whatever you’d like from the menu. The prices are all reasonable, especially the generous servings you get! Upon getting seated at my choice of a table or a booth, I’ve never waited more than 5 minutes, and then viola! All my dinner is suddenly placed on my table in ftont of me! This is a clean restaurant, with the most expert and fast cooks I’ve ever seen in any restaurant! My waitress, Heather, and her helpers are the best I’ve ever seen too! Type Eason’s Catfish House on Merit Road in Mendenhall Mississippi into your GPS or Maps. It’s a little bit of a drive but it’ll be very rewarding in the meals you’ll be served! What was it Joe Namath was famous for saying? Oh yeah! “I guarantee it”.

If you want raw cold rotten salmonella Fish this is the place for you if you mushy pulled pork then come here my father is severely sick from the fish oh and the shrimp was raw then we get over charged by 40 dollar we did the math I much rather drive the extra 8 min to go to shivers

My family has eaten there for many many years and very often‼️‼️‼️‼️ I have not got the first complaint… It’s pricey but not for the kind of food you get 🙂 Every fast food place is expensive now with the same old stuff… This is great food and all you can eat‼️The service is fast… We have never waited more then 10 minutes and the fish is always hot and cooked perfect‼️ The atmosphere is great and the workers are always friendly and fast to check on you 🙂

Took some friends to supper. Order several different items. One had the blackened catfish. It was mushy and looked like it was cooked in a dirty pan not blackened. The mustard greens were just not good. No fried green tomatoes as they can’t get green tomatoes. The fried catfish was tasty but was not hot, warm at best. Hush puppies were pretty tasty and easy to eat. Nice atmosphere and plenty of parking available. Not what we were expecting after all the reviews Waitresses were quick with drinks, were friendly and checked on us often. May have just been a bad night for the cooks May try again but probably will look elsewhere for fish.
