A local friend had told me about Earl’s .. I lived in Solebury a while and decide to drive by my former house n meet a friend there for lunch. First let me say it’s a lovely well cared for restaurant that is great for a date an event or treating yourself. It’s not too pricey I’d say moderate and the staff is on their toes n helpful. I didn’t have to search for my waitress she watched my water glass .. a good sign in a wait staff. The decor was pleasant consistent with the clientele from the surrounding upscale area. It’s a big enough place yet it had more intimate spots to chat with your date or partner. There’s a bar, booths and tables , a fireplace n more. My friend had the special chicken salad, and I didn’t see want I noticed online on the revised menu.. disappointing! I have to say for me .. (maybe it was what I ordered the food) the food was good not great..it missed something.. anyway it’s a lovely great place to eat and I’m certain you’ll enjoy it . With shopping and parking right outside the door and set in the beautiful central Bucks County area it’s a winning combination! I’d say GO!

We went right before Valentine’s Day. It was the first time eating here since the fire happened a few years ago. The original time we ate there it was a prix fixed menu, which wasn’t that great, so our expectations were low. This time, however, the food was incredible, our server was wonderful, and the ambiance was perfect. It was such a nice date night, and we enjoyed ourselves greatly.

Entrance was hard to find since we parked on the opposite side. Place is beautiful. Friendly wait staff. Drinks were delicious. Food was very good but both meals were a bit “off.” The braised beef short ribs were delicious but the potato/leak puree was very soupy, odd combo. They were out of chicken and pork including the special which we were really excited about. She crab soup is a MUST, so good. Overall would definitely try it again and hope they’re better stocked on entrees.

Service was way too slow. We waited almost 20 minutes after being seated for the waitress to come to the table. We ordered an ice tea and a margarita and waited another 15 minutes just for two drinks. Let me stress that the waitress was very polite but whatever is going on with the kitchen or lack of staff is resulting in long waits. The restaurant was less than half full so they were not super busy. I ordered the blueberry chicken salad sandwich. Talk about underwhelming. The sandwich looked nothing like the FB photos. Minced chicken with a bunch of mayonnaise and like five blueberries on a bun. No lettuce, no almonds, no pickles – no flavor. Like literally could get this sandwich for half the price at any diner. I don’t know what was going on with the second floor, but there was constant banging and crashing from above us that made me jump more than once. I am assuming there was a catered event that took away from the quality of the food and service. Usually this place is pretty good but not today.

Had a great time here tonight- out to dinner with some friends. Had a great menu along with non-alcoholic drinks that were exciting to try! We got the fried tomatoes and burrata along with the lobster dumplings as appetizers. And for dinner i got the pork chop. everything was cooked very well and the portions were big, too. The inside has a cozy, homey feel to it and the i have no complaints about the service. Awesome restaurant in a beautiful area.

I ordered the grilled brie and peaches sandwich. The bread didn’t hold up. I had to eat it with a fork. Technically delicious but kind of annoying. Presented beautifully. My companion thought her burger was the best she’s ever had. Perfect restaurant for tired shoppers wanting a real meal.

We came back to Peddler’s village and made reservations for lunch here. The food was pretty amazing. The only reason it’s a 4 star is because I heard the dinner is so much more amazing then their lunch from my friends. I definitely have to come back and try their dinner menu. I highly recommend this place. The ambiance is a modern look and feels relaxing. It could get a bit noisy at times. Maybe it’s because we we’re seated pretty center amongst other guests. It didn’t bother us and we fully enjoyed our time there.

I highly recommend visiting Earl’s. We were there for a large party and Jim and his staff, Destiny and Kristen, were professional and friendly. A wide variety of beverages were offered. The beer was $5 and wine was $10 each. The buffet of food was excellent. It was so good that all went back for seconds! The mac and cheese was creamy, the salmon was cooked perfectly and pork roast was moist. (The only thing was missing was parmesan cheese for pasta) Everything was perfect for the celebration and we will come back again. THANK YOU JIM FOR EVERYTHING!
