I paid 50.00 for 2 pizzas- one regular and a Chicago style pizza, and a sub. The pizzas were cold and they looked like they had been sitting out for a while. The cheese was hard and not melted, no sauce and no Chicago pizza. They must not know what “Chicago style” is because we got a dry thick crust pizza. They have no right stating they make Chicago style, charge more for it when it’s just a regular pan pizza. There was hardly any sauce on the pizzas. The sub was good, but also cold. I’m throwing them away, such a waste of money.
The staff needs to know, when the customer says they’ll pick the food up at a specific time, they need to time it so that it’s hot. I wish I could get my money back.

Great pizza! I love how the whole restaurant is like a time capsule from the area. The food is really good. I loved the small salad and the pizza is good and so is the Italian sub (heated). We will definitely return.

One of Columbus top 5 pizza places. Pizza is overloaded with toppings. A small pizza is enough for 2 people. We had a Taco pizza, a pepperoni and ham pizza and a all the way. All 3 are great

I grew up a few miles from Eagles, my family has been eating there since the early 70’s. Through the years it’s been our go to pizza, have always loved the unique flavor of the crust. I haven’t been there in a few years but was able to stop by yesterday. What happened? The pizza crust has zero flavor and the sauce wasn’t far behind. Was this a cost saving measure? Did the recipe change? How disappointing.

The first time I went to this place was almost a year ago, I went with my supervisor, or best friends / brother /employer, and the first time he took me there we had this taco pizza. I’ve been there four times since, and every time we go to this place I get that same pizza and it’s perfect every time! I highly recommend the taco pizza to anybody that goes to this establishment! I’ve been here like I said four times and I haven’t had any other Pizza except the taco pizza and it never lets me down!

First time there! We will definitely be back! It was recommended that we try the chicken BBQ bacon pizza. It did not disappoint! Probably the best one of those I’ve eaten. The taco pizza tasted just like a taco on a pizza shell. The sausage, pepperoni, mushroom pizza was delicious as well. And you can’t go wrong with a pepperoni or cheese pizza. Can’t wait to go back. The owner couldn’t have been nicer. You can tell he loves what he’s doing and that makes a huge difference. I highly recommend!

I’ve never been here before. Very cool little pizza place. It was filled with vintage artifacts for decorations. Very cool things to look at. The pizza we had was outstanding. We got the the all meat pizza and it was loaded and I mean loaded with bacon, sausage, hamburger, pepperoni and ham. We also had another pizza that had pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms. I’m not a fan of mushroom so I can’t comment on the taste of this pizza. I would recommend this place and I will probably go back myself sometime.

Alright—we’re in New Albany, hitting up a spot with some serious hometown legacy: Eagles Villa Pizza. You pull up and it’s got that vintage charm—feels like you just stepped into a mashup of a garage sale and Cracker Barrel. Floors are literally tilted—not joking. Adds character. Love that old-building energy. You don’t see that every day.
Now, the pizza… as usual, Half Hawaiian! ordered a cheese and Hawaiian half and half. Let’s talk about it.
First off—it’s got a crisp, no doubt. The edges? Fine. But the middle of the crust? That’s where it falls apart. Dense. Doughy. Feels like frozen premade dough, like the stuff you grab at Walmart. No chew, no air pockets, no real texture. It’s too thick, and you’re wishing it had some char or something to give it life.
Flavor? It’s just okay. The sauce isn’t bold, the cheese does the job, but nothing really jumps at you. Hawaiian? Same deal. I’m looking for contrast—sweet, savory, kick, something interesting. It just kind of blends into itself.
Now maybe I’ve had too many good pizzas lately, and my standards are stupid high—but this one? Doesn’t do it for me. It’s a local classic, sure. And honestly? I’d come back just for the vibe. But for the pizza?
6.0 out of 10. It’s not offensive. It’s not great. It’s what you expect from a small-town pizzeria still living in its glory days..
Maybe the subs are better? I’ll give it a try.

Eagles Pizza in New Albany is always solid. I love going here after work to pick up a pizza to take home. They have a great staff and the prices are very reasonable compared to other pizza places around town. I would recommend giving them a try. This time around I got the taco pizza and it was fantastic. Unlike most taco pizzas this came out crispy and warm underneath but the veggies were cool and tasted fresh. It was a great balance and unique. I’d give it a 10 out of 10.
