An impressive variety that truly represents a Texas kitchen. From juicy hamburgers and well-made pizzas to flavorful chicken wings and great American steaks, the menu has something for everyone—seniors, families, and anyone in between. The food is consistently good, the portions are satisfying, and the service is excellent. A true local icon with incredible variety and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Eagles Landing is a fantastic spot! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service was superb from start to finish. We enjoyed a Chicken Caesar salad and the steak fingers with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli—everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and delicious meal!

We were on quick trip picking up a tractor the after valentine’s day.we hadn’t eaten all day and when We saw the sign for Eagles Landing we decided to stop. With a trailer and a tractor we were able to park in the lot in front of the restaurant but we hadn’t noticed that inside was packed!! There was a birthday celebration going on and the ladies were all very busy. But as soon as we walked in we were greeted and told that they would soon get to us. My husband and I decided to eat outside, honestly they were so busy we thought they would forget about us but we were def wrong. A waiter came out and took our drinks and appetizer order. We had the onion rings and the pickles OMG soo delicioussss thank you to our waiter she was so nice. She mentioned she had been scheduled to work even though she normally worked mornings. We didnt get her name but special shout out to her she was so nice and took care of us. We had the valentines special ❤️ the food was cooked to perfection. So fresh. Def coming back again!!

We had the Weaver schnitzel today and it was amazing. The red cabbage was the best I have ever had. Can’t wait to come back. Love the atmosphere also.

Eagles’ Landing Restaurant and Grill is a nice stop with a unique antique feel that sets the atmosphere apart from the usual roadside options. We shared the catfish lunch special, and it was very good — flavorful and satisfying. The food came out almost immediately, which made me wonder if it had been sitting ready, but it was still enjoyable.

The service was attentive and friendly, which added to the experience, and pricing felt fair for what we got. The restaurant has plenty of character and makes for a pleasant break in the drive.

I’d recommend Eagles’ Landing to anyone traveling between Dallas and Austin who wants a good meal in a setting that feels a little different from the typical highway stop. I’d definitely stop in again.

I have been craving a chicken fried steak so I read up on some of the reviews of this place. So I came to try it out. Comes to say they did not disappoint! The chicken fried steak was so tender and thick. Crispy batter. I ordered both gravies on the side. Which were both delicious. The macaroni was creamy and smooth. The mash potatoes were real! Kind of wish there were a little more mash potatoes but the serving size was plentiful for all of it.

I also ordered this dessert they have the “Eagles Nest Banana” it was thick delicious banana pudding layered in between a crispy donut that had been cut In half. I don’t usually order desserts but you must try this for yourself!

My server was Madi and she was so sweet and attentive. Thank you for making my night!

I have now been a second time and this time I tried the French dip sandwich and the key lime pie. Let me tell you the horseradish mayo really hit the spot and the au jus was flavorful! I ordered mine with sweet potato fries. I also ordered the onion rings as an appetizer they were really light and breaded with perfection. My server this time was Tina. She is the sweetest lady you could possibly meet! She was extremely attentive and kind and brought me kids for everything to take home. She also offered for me to have an ice tea for the road. I will definitely keep coming back to this place anytime I come through town.

This place! What can I say? I dont know if my words can do it justice! This is a 10 star joint! The food is awesome, the portions are mighty and the staff is superb! Our server, Stephanie, was excellent. She was very attentive and knowledgeable. My mother in law is German, and she would most definitely approve of the schnitzel. The BLT had so much bacon. The pecan pie was exquisite! Thank you for everything, and we will surely be back here!

It is a very old restaurant. If you are between Austin- Waco, I highly recommend it. The staff are super friendly. We have been there two times. This time we ordered fried mozzarella wedges ( must have), a hamburger steak ( must have, but ask for having the gravy on the side and ask for more mushrooms in the gravy), and Philly cheesesteak. I ordered the sandwich with red cabbage. It was warm and it was my first trying warm red cabbage.
