Originally I was skeptical from ordering hot foods because of the previous reviews, but I took my chances and ordered a hot pastrami with cheese. This was an amazing sandwich for the price since you also get a small bag of chips and a canned beverage of your choice. For 9.99 I think this is well worth it, I would come back.

Owner and employees are down to earth, straightforward and lively. Reminds me of the old neighbourhood Delis on the east coast with all the homemade food and local energy. They make things throughout the day and the swahi fish is delicious. If they run out they can make a fresh batch while you wait. If your thinking about getting fast food go here instead – it’s fast, fresh and much better.

Don’t believe the guy who says he worked there and it’s bad. I worked there too, and absolutely loved it there. The owners are great guys, great sense of humor and a lot of care goes into their work. They are there every day, all day. These guys work hard without a lot of recognition. Loved the sandwiches here! The deli options are amazing! You can try something new every day! Definitely make a stop here. Being so close to the gourmet ghetto, there aren’t a lot of affordable food options. These guys give you a good bang for your buck, and it’ll be tasty too!

Picked up meatball sandwiches from here for my dad’s birthday. I was surprised that he had enough on hand for four sandwiches, but he had them made up in no time. I like that they have a great selection of bread, especially Dutch Crunch and Rye.

They serve poorly, they speak badly, they do not respect the food, it is bad, it has been two years, and it is still racist, they do not clean where the homeless people sleep, they do not keep the food area clean, never buy there again, I do not recommend eating or buying this place made with a bad smell. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. Lately I stop and get salads on my way to work. I appreciate that they take EBT for almost everything. They have these HUGE homemade rice crispie treats – so good! And the service is always entertaining.

Don’t fall for their scam, they be talking nice and being friendly and when you about to pay, they charge you wayyy too much knowing you won’t ask for a receipt after. Make sure y’all don’t fall for it and always get a receipt and check how much they be charging yall!
