My wife and I were visiting the Trinity/Odessa area this weekend and had a desire for sushi like we so often enjoy back in our home base in Jacksonville Florida. We looked for the closest sushi restaurant to the Hampton Inn and E Sushi Odessa was only 5 minutes away. When we entered, we saw a television on the wall that acted like an indoor digital billboard and showed some really tasty looking dishes. We were seated right away and the server was fast in bringing the clear soup and Holiday Roll just like at the Fancy Sushi restaurant on Collins Road in Orange Park where we have eaten several times. My wife chose the Squid salad, tuna roll and salmon roll while I chose the pork katsu. Very fresh and delicious! We topped off our meal with a green tea ice cream that was fried and topped with whipped cream and sprinkles. Everyone who works there were very pleasant and great care for us. I will remember this place and look forward to seeing them again. I even told Niki, the owner, that I was down here for our annual holiday party, to which she responded: “We’ll see you next year!” I really love these people!

First, the chairs are so comfy! The food was delicious . We got the Sweetheart Roll, Spice Tuna, Mexican Roll and Tokyo Roll. My son did not like the Tokyo Roll and they were kind enough to offer a replacement roll for him (we did not ask or complain). We declined but the fact that they offered won us over.

With the new price increases it’s a terrible value. Before, I had mentioned many times that they had very sweet rice or hard rice, and also that the fish was low quality like very dry or end pieces and tasteless in the sashimi. But the quality only got worse. My son had brown avocado in a basic avocado roll that was already overpriced for what you get. I am a sushi lover and have been to hundreds of places and had melt in your mouth fancy rolls for $15 or less, the ones here are now $17/$18 which is insane because they’re covered in tempura and tasteless. Yes, the environment is modern and clean and the staff is attentive and nice, but paying so much for bad sushi is not worth it. Anyone who wants good sushi don’t expect it here. We gave them dozens of chances. We only returned due to the nice and spacious environment and because we live 7 mins away. Now, we are ok to drive 25 min for better sushi.

One evening, my husband and I were looking for a place to eat and nearly every restaurant was closed. E Sushi in Odessa was the only place open, and we were welcomed warmly. The food was hot, delicious, and deeply satisfying, and we left feeling genuinely cared for. I will always be grateful that they were there when we needed a meal. Thank you, E Sushi, for your kindness and for providing comfort when it mattered.

What an amazing experience!!!! The server greeted me with complimentary miso soup and an appetizer on the house. I cannot remember a restaurant that has ever done something like that. The server provided great service and suggested this great sushi roll for my liking! She was sweet and professional.
The food I ordered came out very fast with great presentation. The restaurant is beautiful from inside and outside. They went out of their way for me, and although they never asked I want to go out of my way by adding this review for them. The place is very clean and is well kept as well. Thank you. I wish your business lots of success.

Ordered 2 holiday rolls, a crazy tuna roll, and a Tokyo roll for about $45 after the tip. The holiday rolls are really good and so was the Tokyo roll. The crazy tuna roll was decent, but the spicy tuna on top was mild and had an odd texture. Also the crunchies on top weren’t what I was expecting but nonetheless it was decent. They give you a smaller version of the holiday roll and miso soup while you wait for your food and they were both delicious. I really liked the miso soup, I ate the mushrooms before I took the picture because I got too excited. But all in all, the food and atmosphere was good. I’ll definitely be back for more holiday rolls, miso, and to try some other rolls. I recommend trying it out.

The food arrived quickly and was very fresh and delicious. I had the yellowtail with jalapeño, the spicy to a salad and the sashimi lunch special. All of them were extremely fresh and very tasty.
