I travel to El Dorado for, work – I tried the chicken salad a few weeks ago and could not stop thinking about it. I am back again, and it’s even better than I remember.

On top of the amazing food the staff phenomenal!

I am so sorry I accidentally reviewed this place poorly 4 years ago. I just came out their front door to leave a review and saw my own review from 4 years ago and almost had a coronary.(I updated review to be 5 stars…I wish there were 10 stars available!) We love this place and the burgers are 10/10 everytime!

Stopped (sadly, by myself this trip) in for dinner looking for another local place. Close to downtown it’s a nice laid back atmosphere. My order was the Razor back burger and fries. Really good handmade patty with LOTS of crispy bacon. I get hungry again just thinking about it. The fries were crisp and good. There were several varieties of cookies, cakes and such that were tempting but the burger left no room. Tonight there was a three piece band that was fun to listen to. I would definitely give this place another try. Recommended

The service is very friendly. The place is quaint. The baked goods were ok. I didn’t try the regular food. I wanted to try the chicken and dumplings off the menu, nut they were unavailable. It’s a charming spot for a stop on a trip through the area.

Very fulfilling meals for a reasonable price. Friendly staff and a family friendly atmosphere. Very impressed with the service we received. They offer a variety of desserts and treats. 10/10 recommend.

Whether you stopping by for lunch or enjoying a casual dinner and drinks with friends, I believe you’ll find this to be a relaxing place to meet up.

I’ve been in a rush at lunchtime and stopped by to build my own salad from their salad bar. Each visit I’ve had fresh food to choose from and a nice variety as well.

I enjoy their burgers as well. They’re large enough to make a couple of meals.

They offer a nice selection of salads, sandwiches, appetizers, and plate lunches to satisfy a variety of appetites.

They can get busy at lunch, so sometimes it’s better to call ahead if you’re in a rush.

I’m addition to meals, they offer a nice selection of baked goods from desserts to breads.

Drinks with friends? Sure. I love that there’s no glaring fluorescent lighting to detract from the decor. Lots of windows for the natural light to shine through and an interesting display of antiques and area photographs depicting the history of Union County as well.

I would take a business colleague or friend here. It’s also within walking distance of the Murphy Arts District if you’re staying downtown.

Recommended for the weekday tourists, businesses hosting out-of-town guests or for those wanting to grab a cup of soup for a friend or family member who’s on the mend and needs a bit of cheering up. You can depend on Elm Street to see you through.

I tried their sweets in January and swore we would be back to try their food. It was amazing. The razor burger was the biggest we’ve ever seen and was fabulous. The patty melt was amazing and the potato logs were perfect. The building was well lit, clean and had this “old country store” feel to it was incredibly charming. Those worried about COVID will be happy to note that the tables are very well spaced so you don’t feel crowded at all. It was a wonderful experience over all and I’ll definitely be going back!
