Im sorry but it may be cheap, and it’s a reason why the ribs are so tough, the Mac n cheese is so dry with no taste ion know if it’s cause I ordered early n got yesterdays food buts it’s a BIG NO! Now tge beans was okay But it’s a no once again!

I heard about the $7 rib plate and had to give them a try. Definitely worth it the ribs were tender plenty of for for $7. Wight time wasn’t long so if you’re trying to get in on a quick lunch break its possible also the customer service was spot on ‼️I will definitely be stopping in again……and again lol

Let’s start off by saying this is some if not the best BBQ in Tallahassee.
I decided on the $8 dinner with two meats and two sides. I got the pulled pork which was absolutely tender and flavorful and soo delicious. Other meat I got was smoked chicken and that was so tender it almost fell apart taking a bite.
For sides I got the baked beans and potato salad. The beans tasted really good and the potato salad was delicious, not too much sauce and the potato’s were perfect sized.
It gets a little warm in the Florida sun waiting for your food but luckily the wait isn’t too long and the food makes up for the wait.
I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for some good BBQ

Truly old time BBQ. E& J’s is a family business and they have been kicking out really good barbecue for over 7 years now. The only reason I didn’t give them five stars overall is the barbecue sauce was not unique and seems like store-bought. The sauce is good, just a bit sweet for my taste.
The place is a small shack style building, with several good smoker pits, and is not a dine-in restaurant. It’s kind of like a permanent roadside pit from the old days. (60’s & 70’s) They have a large parking lot in the back where you can park and eat, if you’re not taking it to go back home with you.
The prices are great. The portions are fair, the employees are friendly like family, and the service is super fast. I had the pulled pork sandwich with two sides, and then went back and got another pulled pork sandwich and the ribs combo. The pulled pork is good, and the ribs are what I would call riblets but there was a good portion and they were really good also.
So if you want some really good takeout barbecue fast, go to E&J’s on Monroe Street, I think you will be happy you did! (I went back for seconds)

Amazing roadside BBQ that you would drive right by unless you were looking for it. Ordered the $5 pulled pork and $5 rib meal and it was more than enough food. Extremely friendly staff and the food came out within 5 minutes. Easily the best BBQ for your buck and maybe the best I’ve ever had.

Best BBQ and best prices!! My father in law has been so pleased with this place I went out of my way to give them a try, and I did not regret it. I ordered the rib plate and boy was it good. Overall a great place with friendly staff. This was my first visit but it certainly isn’t my last!!! Great job!!
