I gave it 4 over all because they didn’t have 4.5.
BBQ is a very individual taste. My favorite won’t be yours. This isn’t my favorite, but it’s very good. The flavor is a little bit of vinegar with just enough heat.
We got the D’z big platter for 4 of us and had plenty left over. We are not huge people that eat more than we want, so YMMV.
It was excellent. We got it cold to go and heated up at home. I really like thin cut brisket such as this. We heated the ribs on 350 for about 15 minutes, and they were perfect. Excellent coleslaw to my taste. Creamy but not too wet and watery with thick cut cabbages. Mustard potato salad is the best.
It’s 40 minutes from home, and I would drive there to just to get it.

Mustard based BBQ sauce incorporated in the meat on the BBQ Pork Sandwich. I believe the hamburger patty was not fresh (maybe boxed and frozen?). There was no option for lettuce, tomato or fresh onions on the hamburger. Service was good. Plenty of parking. No wait. Food was ready when I ordered it.

Delicious food! I cant wait to come back for more. The Barbecue platter i got was full of amazing food, the brisket was perfect, the sausage had tons of flavor and a nice snap to each bite, and the pulled pork was some of the best ive ever had. 10/10 would recommend. It helps that the owner and staff were incredibly nice and patient with me too!

Great fresh tasting food. Fries pretty good, bbq sandwich and phillies are good; kids ate every bite of the bbq. Customer service is nice. Older restroom but clean.

Only sandwich I have tried was the Big Brisket sandwich with pepper, onions, cheese, and was delicious and went back the next day and the day after before traveling out. It’s worth stopping by and give it a shot.

Being we were in Florence SC I figured we get some good barbecue. I’ve always heard that small hole in the wall places are the best for BBQ; well, wrong !
We had the brisket which was covered in a greasy sauce and loads of fat. It was super thin and chewy. Sorry Michael you can do better, you have all the right equipment ! Fries, slaw, potato salad and baked beans were all good but the star of the show just didn’t perform. The ambiance is roadside shack revival with a twist of biker bar (no alcohol). Oh well $50 wasted

On the way to MB we stopped since our traveling companions did. They said it was great. OMG, the Big Brisket sandwich (with onions, peppers and cheese) is awesome. I rarely give 5-star ratings but when I saw D’z had a 4.4 overall I wanted to help out. That’s unfair, especially when most of the negative reviews were due to the political signs. Did any of those lefties even try the food? You never, ever hear about conservatives boycotting/bashing a left-leaning proprietor! The brisket was so good my wife and I stopped and picked up a pound of brisket and D provided the grilled onions and peppers. Got home, microwaved for a minute and put on a roll with shredded mozzarella and D’s sauce. Just as good as the sammy we had on the way to MB. We will visit every time we are anywhere close!

I had a good experience my first time here. I came later in the day and the food was a little bit dry but very tasty. Also, you get a good amount of food for the price. I plan on coming back earlier in the day to see if they go to a 5 star review!

This place has always been a staple for me when coming back to my hometown on the Grand strand of South Carolina. I always pass through here coming from Georgia so it’s always a must stop for me. All the signs and all that doesn’t bother me. If the food is good enough. You will ignore the signs or whatever you have a problem with and the food is good enough to ignore whatever signs they have. Keep up the good work. Y’all ignore the haters. See you in a minute to pick up that rack

Every time we come to Myrtle beach from Georgia we pass this place, and today on the way home we decided to stop by. So glad we did, the lady helping us was so friendly. The menu had a lot options and something for everyone. The food came out fast and was so delicious!
Definitely stop by if you ever are driving by.
We had some ribs, potato salad, the chicken sandwich. And I had the pulled pork sandwich with slaw! All 10/10
