I had high hopes for this place. It is a super cute establishment. The atmosphere was really awesome! The way it wasn’t bad and I could see myself and that was great. I ordered a Mexican skillet and my husband order corned beef and hash and eggs. I also ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy. That’s where we started to have a problem. That Mexican skillet was anything but Mexican. It was ground beef and bell peppers and onions all tossed into a pan. No seasoning. The eggs that I ordered were supposed to be over easy. They ended up being over medium to almost over hard. When I got to the biscuits and gravy it taste it like raw flour. I will not be back! The food was presented well the service was okay, but that freaking food was awful. I’m sorry.

Another great diner experience in Iowa. The food was outstanding, service good and the place was nicely decorated and clean. Tucked into a building in the middle of town, it doesn’t sport the ‘diner’ look from the outside but not to be missed if you’re looking for an awesome meal in a cool Iowa town! We had lunch there. I was expecting the usual bad food / high prices you see in a tourist trap but I was disappointed! This is a nice restaurant with good home cooking. The locals eat here. The prices were very reasonable.

We were in town to visit Field of Dreams and needed some lunch. Dyersville Family Restaurant came up as a popular choice so we headed there. It was delicious! It’s a place where everyone is friendly and welcoming, the food is delicious and reasonably priced, and everyone can find something to eat. Three out of the four of us got breakfast even though it was lunchtime. We all enjoyed our food so much! We have a restaurant almost exactly like it near us and we will happily go back to Dyersville Family Restaurant next time we are passing through. Definitely make a point to stop and get some breakfast or lunch here!

Went there on a Sunday morning and it was pretty busy but we still got our food relatively fast. We got a waffle with strawberries and it was huge. We also got a pork tenderloin with onion rings. Everything was delicious

Love, coming here every time, the staff is always welcoming, never a long wait food is amazing we got skillets hats off to the chefs and our server Hailey was attentive and always checking on us. If your ever in Dyersville I recommend stopping here.
