We started on Fort Wainwright in summer of 2012. running the golf course concession and ski lodge concession. We Caught on quick with our military and civilians who work on base. Now We have our location at our newly constructed building in fairbanks, this was the same location that David’s father once had a restaurant(Rosey & Sons). We believe in great customer service, with the quality of food to match it. We have been blessed with this opportunity and we love every minute of it. David and I love what we do and truly believe in our business. We hope to serve our golden heart community with pride. We are excited for you to see what we have to offer. Food and excellent customer service has always been our passion in our lives.

What a hidden gem! If you haven’t tried DW Grill delicious food or experienced the warm hospitality and fast friendly service that MAKES DW what it is, you need to. RUN don’t walk to savor the variety of breakfast and lunch options. We LOVED our breakfast while waiting for an oil change! It was cooked fresh and served hot on a chilly Fairbanks morning where you kind of wish you were still in a warm bed at home, but THIS breakfast made you so happy you ventured in. It HITS the spot when you want a good, homemade breakfast. Delicious !!!

A+ service. They know you on a first name basis. The food is always 5 stars. Every single time. Never a complaint & always end up full from the portions. I like ordering on Toast, they have it ready so quick! But you can dine in and get it fast, too. I have tried so many menu items & I feel like I still have over half the menu to go before having everything. Love coming here and would recommend to everyone. All ages kinda place!

Can’t do any better than this! The owner, Winna, is an exceptional host and conversationalist – when she talks with you, she seems genuinely interested. And the food – yum! We had a keto breakfast sandwich and a regular breakfast sandwich and they were cooked to order, hot, and tasty.

People here are always super nice and welcoming. Personally I feel like this is the best spot here in Fairbanks I always recommend this spot to others. I love this place. Only reason I don’t give five stars is because of the hours being closed on weekends and after 3 PM kind of makes it hard to get too.

DW Grill catered my son’s rehearsal dinner. Throughout the process of arranging the meal we were well-cared for. The day of was very smooth and the food was absolutely delicious. I did not have to worry about anything, and we all got to enjoy an amazing dinner! I recommend this team for your event.

Wow! Best burgers and Phillies cheesesteak. Both are delicious. Great service and attentiveness to customers. Price are great which includes a side and drink! P.S. you can customize your orders!

Quaint, eclectic local eatery. Sooooo good! SUPER SUPER customer service. They took pics of our whole party and posted them immediately on FB. I had the Cesar Shrimp Wrap and it was outstanding. The curly fries were a bit crunchy and chewy, that’s why I have them 4 stars for the food. Prices are right in line with what you pay at any take out spot in the last frontier (which was culture shock for this girl from Raleigh, NC). Don’t miss this spot if you’re in Fairbanks, AK.

Went to DW Grill & Catering for the first time in 6 or 7 years. Weird how fast time goes it didn’t seem that long ago.
Lots of changes since my last visit, like the innovative touch screen ordering stations so you don’t feel like you’re holding up the show with your (or my) ordering indecisiveness, and now a really expanded menu.
Decided on the sunshine burger, with the bacon cheesy ranch curly fries and a cherry Pepsi.
The fries were so good. Fight me, but curly fries are the supreme form of fries. The seasoning was perfect and the cheesy ranch bacon combination was a solid mashup of some of the best flavors. Those got eaten immediately.
The burger was pretty tasty, had a nice char on the outside and the bun was toasted, so a great crunch mouthfeel but too much not like im eating a cracker. Was cooked medium-well but was hoping for pinkish center (I’ll take the risks for flavor!) which was an option on the mobile ordering screen. Burger was great overall though, very happy with it.
Only real bug for me was I chose a special burger and I kinda assumed the tablet would auto populate what one would expect on the burger from the picture, and then you work off that, but I had to manually choose every single item including the egg and how to cook it (which made me feel like I just designed my own burger versus ordering the one on the menu) and I just could not figure out on the fly how to get pickles with the lettuce and tomato next time.
DW I feel is a somewhat hidden gem of Fairbanks and I highly recommend it. The owners are amazing people, super friendly family atmosphere, and they’ve done a great job with the small business. Even with the time that has passed I can still highly recommend eating here and I will be back, this time with my family.

Fantastic food with outstanding service and a fun atmosphere. I would give 10 stars if possible because this is easily my favorite place in Fairbanks. As a vegetarian it is sometimes hard to find good variety but their vegetarian options are plentiful, unique and delicious. I would unhesitatingly recommend them for breakfast or lunch
