Atmosphere- 4 stars- locally owned restaurant that has been serving the Fairmont community for years. This restaurant is located in the Whitehall area of Fairmont. Small and compact inside- probably no more than 15 tables. It has a country craft theme and is very clean. I really enjoyed the Christmas decor.
Service- 5 stars- our server was Ariel and she was very friendly and attentive. She made sure we had everything we needed and kept checking on us but not breathing down our necks. All the servers were decked out in Christmas costumes.
Food- 4 stars- comfort food with daily specials as well as soups and sandwiches. I had the ham and soup beans with cornbread and fried potatoes on the side. It came with a side of chopped onions – just like Mom used to make.

Dutchman’s Daughter is a great family style restaurant. The food is absolutely amazing, everything you order is delicious! The service and environment in the restaurant is wonderful, and I love the homey feel. I would 100% recommend trying it out if you haven’t yet!

Wow..Amazing food! My cheese steak sandwich was sooo good! My wife had the special of the day Country Fried Steal with Mash Potatoes and Gravy. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious! Our waitress was very kind and professional! Would highly recommend you stopping in for some tasty comfort food!

This was our first time eating here and it won’t be our last. We’ve talked about eating here but really never found the time, until today. It wasn’t long after we sat down before our waitress, Brooke, was at our table. She was very courteous. We ordered the daily special, salmon cakes, and the Buffalo Chicken hoagie with home fries. Both were very good and very filling. If you find yourself in the White Hall/Fairmont area, stop in and get something great to eat at very affordable prices. We will be back.

This was our first time at this restaurant and we weren’t impressed with the food. My husband had Ham, mashed potatoes with gravy. I had meat lasagna with garlic bread, and we both had a side salad. The salad was pretty basic and small. My husband said his mashed potatoes tasted like they were instant, and the gravy was out of a jar. My lasagna was OK but had way too much cheese, and although the garlic bread was soft and fresh baked, it had a strange metal taste like it was baked on an old pan. Needless to say, we won’t be returning since we paid $27.71 and drank water. This is cute inside and very clean, so it’s a shame the food wasn’t any better.

I was very disappointed with this restaurant. I did love the small town feel and appearance of it and I was excited to try the food. I had the a Italian chicken pasta salad which came with a ton of mozzarella cheese and garlic bread. So the pasta was really cold not even warm and the garlic bread was very greasy and soggy. My husband’s mash potatoes were not homemade they seem to be instant. We also tried the berry cobbler which was not to bad but it won’t really call it berries cobbler since it wasn’t even baked. I will not return but everyone has there own taste.

I went for the first time to celebrate me and my friend’s birthdays about a month back, mainly because I forget it’s there so that’s why I’ve never been, and the food was outstanding! The service was great and the atmosphere was homey. Best cod I’ve ever tasted. Can’t wait to go back!

absolutely delicious homemade food, service was fast, waiters were friendly. can’t wait to go back and try this wonderful little place again. Closed on Sunday and Monday but we’ll worth checking out the daily specials the rest of the week.
