We had such a wonderful experience at this family restaurant! From the very first moment, we felt the warm and welcoming attitude of the staff. You can truly feel how carefully they preserve the history and soul of this place — it’s not just a café, it’s a story filled with tradition and love.
The food was absolutely incredible. Everything tastes homemade, with unique and non-standard recipes you won’t find anywhere else. We ordered pork, a steak, and several apple desserts — including apple dumplings and fried apple dessert — and every single dish was unbelievably delicious. The desserts, especially, were truly unforgettable.
You can clearly tell that every dish is prepared with heart and passion. On top of that, the prices were very reasonable and pleasantly surprised us, especially for the quality of food and service we received.
We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates authentic homemade food, amazing desserts, and a warm, family atmosphere.

Best food around I had a really good experience I got a country fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy and the green beans and it was phenomenal. I like this meal here way better than old country buffet. I will be coming here from now on while I’m on the road.

Excellent food! Its a cross between diner and home cooked. Our server was very nice and attentive. The roast beef was delicious. The green beans are made with flavor. I think the potato was box, but it did taste good so. Theres a gift shop witb gooides. Plenty of parking. Plenty of tables inside. Overall I would recommend!

The wife ordered the pot roast with fresh-baked bread—it was to die for. Rich, tender, and full of flavor. I had the liver and onions, which I only trust to restaurants, and they nailed it. Perfectly cooked and seasoned.
The coleslaw was finely chopped with a light horseradish kick—classic and refreshing. Our third guest enjoyed the garden pasta, a great vegetarian option.
We finished with the apple fritters, which were unique, warm, and delicious—not your typical dessert tray filler.
If you’re anywhere near Clearfield, PA, make the stop. It’s worth it. Great food, friendly staff, and a true taste of Pennsylvania Dutch tradition.

This is was an incredible experience. We ordered 2 main dishes: meatloaf and kielbasa. Each comes with 2 sides. We also ordered ham and bean soup, apple fritters and shoefly pie. Portion size was huge and each item tasted fresh and delicious. The person who was serving us was very nice and service was quick even on a busy long weekend. Definitely worth stopping by.

Just took a chance on this place while getting fuel. Very Cracker Barrel- ish in their theme. There are lots of trinkets to buy. My wife ordered toast, scrambled eggs, and bacon. I ordered pancakes and bacon. There must be a high tariff on swine because the two little pieces of bacon that came with the meals were laughable. We got a side to split between us. There’s not much to say about eggs and toast. The pancakes, however, are another story. I am NOT saying that they were bad, BUT they certainly were not GOOD. Maybe a boxed batter mixed with water, these flap jacks were dense, difficult to even cut and tasteless. They sucked up the delicious syrup like a sponge. I would never order these from here again! The service and decor were so nice that overall, I went from a 3 to a 4. As shown, the price was very reasonable. I would not seek this place out, but your mileage may vary.

I’d give this Dutch Pantry Family Restaurant 6 stars if I could! Tremendous value/price/taste/quality – and quick too!!! Server was also great. Meatloaf had a thick and very dark delicious sauce, and my Turkey was perfectly cooked and flavored. There also is an Amish shop with lots of very cool products.
