Fun stop in Tillamook for a great basic burger & fries. Very attentive service. Love their fries dipping sauce and the bun tasted homemade. Cute American nostalgia theme with lots of vintage items to enjoy and make you feel you are at a 50s diner. Prices are high, but that’s unfortunately the norm now. Recommend this place!

Great 50s diner. Throw back to what it was like back in the day. Terry was great, he’s the owner, greats every one and waits on tables. He also likes to talk , makes you feel like your at home.

Loved all the nostalgic decorations. Music was very 60’s soda parlor . Food was good and affordable. It is family owned and ran. Very friendly place. We had great burrr & fries. And chicken fried steak breakfast with biscuits and gravy yummmmmm

If you’re visiting Tillamook, you absolutely have to stop by this traditional American diner located in the downtown area! The atmosphere is classic and cozy, and the service was genuinely great—friendly and helpful. I ordered the Cadillac Burger based on a recommendation from the server, and honestly, it was one of the best burgers I’ve had this year. Perfectly cooked, super flavorful, and just hit the spot.
Definitely a must-visit spot in Tillamook. Highly recommended!

This place is definitely worth visiting. The food is freshly prepared, my burger had lots of lettuce and tomato and the fries were not too greasy or too salty. I didn’t try the hand mixed shake but they look very tempting.

A big WOW! Don’t let the name (Dutch Mill Cafe) fool you. This is a fantastic 50’s dinner. The decor is authentic and extensive. More than just plaques and tins on a wall. And, all dusted and clean. You can tell that they care for their items and take pride in sharing with their customers. The food was amazing as well. All burgers were cooked to perfection and served steamy hot. Great homemade sauce. Shakes were a big treat with a nice variety. It was the best service we have had on our 7 day trip. Genuinely friendly and not because they had to but because it is in their nature. Bathrooms were clean.

Belt Buster came close but my belt is still intact, thankfully. Juicy burgers, delicious shakes, kids meals were free with purchase of an adult meal, it was fabulous. And the kiddos can ride the pony.

The dutch mill cafe was a similar experience to what Dante went through when he reached the final layer of hell. The first impression was negative as we were seated in the very back where there was NO atmosphere except a bunch of kiddy toys where many children would run to and scream while we were just trying to talk. No music, barely any service, just bad start. We ordered something simple. It was chicken and fries – not only did we pay 30$ for it – we waited 40 minutes for it. As we waited we were lulled to sleep with the screams of little children, noise of the machines, and lack of music to keep us company. The food was solid but did not make up for the rest of the horrible experience. No hate to the owner or staff, but not good – The Critic

Nice little diner if you’re in the area. We got there about 1/2 hr before they closed but they were kind enough to let us stay almost 45 min past and we weren’t the only or even the last table to come in. They even took a large group 10 min after flipping the open sign.
The burgers are all smash burgers and were a little dry. The fries and the fry sauce was good. We even got some coffee on the house.
The owner Terry was quite friendly, is a car collector and usually has one of his cars out front. This day, it was a beautiful trans am.
Check them out if you are in Tillamook
