Quaint is the watchword for this spot. A rather small but satisfying small-town pub menu, a very busy night, and a very tired and hungry trucker. What I’ll remember is the friendly people. I was the odd man out when I entered: a stranger. All eyes turned to me when I entered. But a young family struck up a conversation, were curious about my travels. I entertained them with some photos from the road. Very charming and delightful kids. I forgot how tired I was and was treated like part of the family.
Found out later they’d paid my tab. Made my day. (Hearty thanks)
This is the heart of small-town America. Right here in the quaint little Dutch Mill Cafe.
I look forward to next time I’m in town.

Had a beer and a burger at nearly 9 PM. They have a great selection of beers and burgers and a very friendly neighborhood spot atmosphere. I could not have enjoyed the Dutch Master Double Burger more! As good as it could possibly be! Prices were very reasonable.

The bartender was attentive and engaged. We really enjoyed the music of North Lindsey. They were the perfect duo for this small, intimate venue. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, if you know the locals or are willing to get to know them. If you have frequented the Dutch Mill anytime in the last 20 years, chances are you’ll know someone in the bar. The bathrooms are typical dive bar bathrooms.
