It seems this restaurant has been around forever. There are always cars outside and that’s a good sign that it is popular. Recently, I had the open faced roast beef sandwich, mashed potatoes, and potato salad. The mashed potatoes and potato salad were the best that I’ve ever had anywhere. The roast beef was OK. The gravy is also outstanding. Great service! Excellent parking. Too bad they close at 2 PM as it would be a great dinner spot. Highly recommend.

Waiting for 11 to grab lunch. Ordered a peppered steak, corn, and beans with both toast and cornbread.
Steak would have been better off with just some salt.
Beans were just steamed. No flavor.
Corn was made in butter but it was probably salt free butter.
Everything was cooked well but seasoned poorly.
Service was good.
Place is fairly clean.

Unfortunately a disappointment. Food was very bland, the coleslaw tasted more like sourkraut and the macaroni salad tasted like it gone bad.

I loved my burger and fries. Staff friendly but busy. Hadn’t been there in a while. Disappointed that the veggies weren’t listed on board or in menu. They are known for home cooked food. I went for easy but excellent.

My family and I went here on vacation and immediately when we walked into the door the customers were staring at us. Some customers were staring at us the whole entire time we were there. They made us feel very uncomfortable and unwanted. The only thing that made us stay there was the service. The waiter was very friendly and made us feel comfortable but still wouldn’t recommend it, if you’re someone of color. The food was ok but the prices were really inexpensive. So if you’re on a budget i recommend coming here but just be careful because the customers made it hard to eat.

Wow! This restaurant has upgraded their dining experience to include a very nice menu. It was perfect. Absolute pleasure. The biscuits were freshly made and delicious. The prices are super reasonable. Please visit them. It’s worth a stop.
