I am a regular at Dusty Biscuit. I usually do carry out. I appreciate the friendly service and awesome special menu items. Being a Louisiana native, I love the quick, convenient, and creative options! I usually get the B holes since they’re easier to eat, and I love their bayou bacon tots! Some of my favorite special menu items have been the gumbo, boudin egg rolls, hot honey beignet sandwich, cafe au lait iced beignets, and shrimp poboy beignet sliders (not pictured).

I made the mistake of discovering this place too late in my life. In just a few weeks, I’ve already been back five times, and I regret absolutely nothing except not finding it sooner. The beignets are always warm, fluffy, and dangerously good. The classic beignets are perfection, the everything beignets are savory and addictive, the Monte Cristo ones are indulgent in the best way, and the strawberry beignets are basically dessert royalty.

And then there are the loaded tots. I don’t say this lightly: they have changed me as a person. Smothered in Creole sauce and rémoulade, topped with bacon bits and green onions, they’re the perfect balance of sweet and heat. I think about them far more often than is reasonable. Also, somehow, all of this comes at prices that feel suspiciously reasonable for how good everything is.

The café au lait is smooth, rich, and comforting, and the service is always quick and genuinely friendly … like they know they’re serving life-altering food and are rooting for your happiness.

My heartbreak is that I’m moving out of state in a few weeks. The fact that I can’t pack this place up and take it with me feels deeply personal and unfair. Until then, I’ll be here at least once a week, emotionally preparing for the inevitable heartbreak.

Do yourself a favor and go. Your future self will thank you. Your waistline might not, but your soul absolutely will.

I’ve been here twice within a week, and the food is an easy 10/10! The sweet beignet and crispy bacon tots are absolutely amazing. I’ve already recommended this place to my coworkers, and so far, not a single complaint. I love discovering hidden gems like this—places I can brag about without hesitation!

Felt like we were in NOLA.
We ordered the French Quarter Beignets, which were the classic powdered sugar beignets. It was good, really messy, but not as fluffy as the ones I’ve had in New Orleans. Still pretty yummy. Then we got the Bourbon Street Beignets, which I think I enjoyed more, since it wasn’t as messy. My boyfriend wasn’t a fan of the bacon, but I liked it. It was also glazed and powdered lightly with sugar. Overall a pretty good afternoon snack or dessert.

My second time coming here.
I craved beignets when pregnant and this place didn’t let me down.

Just came back after having my son, still soooo good and great pricing.
I love the limited menu items and that they have different specials different times of the year.

10/10 my FAVORITE breakfast/beignet spot

Oh /man/! I’ve been wanting to visit Dusty Biscuit since I saw the post about the King’s Cake Beignets, but today I finally did it!

I came in with my friend Kirk ~12:00PM, right when they opened for their “Icepocalypse” hours. It seemed as good a time as any to swing by, show our support for local businesses.

It seems that many people had the same idea, because in a matter of minutes the lobby was full of people! It was really nice to see, especially since the last few days have been tough for local businesses.

Despite the amount of people coming in the staff was quick, attentive, and friendly!

I ordered two of the Trios (comes with the three sweet options) and the Everything Beignet (I’m fuzzy on the names) as well as a quart of the Gumbo that they’re selling right now. I brought all that back home to my family and it was quickly devoured!

If my Grandma, Dad, and girlfriend were leaving reviews they’d also be similar ratings from the sounds of their enjoyment. I really like the Gumbo, I highly recommend getting it while they’re selling it!

I highly recommend stopping by, it’s well worth it!

I’m not a morning person but staff was warm and friendly, ready to answer any questions I might have. I would say gave me a good start to my day. The cubano sliders were spectacular! The banana pudding was the perfect balance of sweet. I will be returning!

Honestly, I wish I could give more stars because this is top tier. Their honey butter chicken sandwich is one of the best things I have ever eaten. The chicken is well seasoned, fried to perfection, and sandwiched in a beignet.

The beignets were delicious! It did take quite some time to get them and there is very little standing/seating

Overall 9.6/10 I would go out of my way to come here

Stumbled across this place accidentaly and am very glad that I did! Customer service was excellent and the food came out fast. I had the Bourbon Street Beignets and the Sausage Sliders. The Beignets were so delicious, perfect combo of sweet and savory 9.6/10. The sausage sliders were also very good 8.5/10 but if they ever did a homeade sausage it could easily be a 10/10. My wife got the tater tots aslo, really good sauce and portion size as well as nice and crispy 8.7/10. There was a slight sewage smell upon entering but please dont let that detur you away, im pretty sure its out of their control and more on the fault of the building itself. There are a few tables so not ideal for a big group. Parking lot a block down the road and a few spots for street parking so good luck with that. I highly recommend this place!
