Durbar Indian and Nepali Cuisine is a restaurant located at 5103 Carlisle Pike Mechanicsburg, PA 17050. It was started in 2021 but operational in July of 2022. We serve a variety of dishes from south Asia that including Indian Dishes and Nepali Dishes. Our goal is to provide the best customer service while serving the best food in the area. Come stop by for some delicious food!

This was a Saturday early dinner ( we arrived little before 6:00 pm) DurBar serves a buffet for lunch only and a wide variety menu for dinner. They celebrated the their first year anniversary on 07/14/23! We wish them continued success as it’s well deserved!

I recently tried the DarBar Indian and Nepali cuisine restaurant and ordered their momos and Nepali bhelpuri. Unfortunately, the bhelpuri had a burnt taste, which was disappointing. The momos, on the other hand, were average in terms of taste and quality. While the restaurant had a pleasant ambiance, the lackluster flavors and burnt bhelpuri left me unsatisfied. I hope they can improve the consistency and taste of their dishes for a better dining experience.

I first noticed this restaurant at the grand opening of the Soltan Bazar supermarket next door. At the time DurBar was still doing its final furnishing. I kind of forgot about it. Today I passed by it while running an errand and decided to order one of my favorite Indian dishes, Chicken 65, which I’ve had it numerous times in Edison, NJ.

Feb 8 23: even better! Dal makhini with great taste and texture, yummy bindi masala with rich gravy, moist and delicious tandoori chicken, and a tasty goat dum biryani. Had some meat, not tons but enough. The Andrah chicken curry had the best taste. Chai for perfect ending.

Buffet is $15.99- only Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays. Excellent selection of items with different types of curries, biryani. Lots of meats. Some veggie options. Chai tea is very good. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved it here. It was our first time here and didn’t know it was a buffet at the time of day it was. However that didn’t bother us and we tried everything we could and it was amazing food. Definitely coming back.
