We are consistently impressed by the quality of the food—it is always incredibly fresh and delicious. We love that the staff prepares the meals right in front of us as we move down the line, ensuring everything is exactly how we like it.
While everything we’ve tried is excellent, our usual order, the salads topped with perfectly grilled chicken, is fantastic and never disappoints. The portions are generous and the ingredients taste incredibly fresh every time.
Beyond the great food, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. They do a great job, making the entire experience enjoyable. If you’re in the St. George area and craving Mexican food, Durangos is the best choice!

I like the food overall but i ordered the chicken tortilla soup and maybe just an off day but it was literally just chicken broth and chicken with tortilla strips on the side. I know everywhere makes things differently but it was lacking..well..everything lol. The rice is a little blah too but overall its fine, similar to cafe rio. I like the atmosphere and place was clean

I’ve always been a big fan of Costa Vida and Café Rio, but Durango’s is every bit as good—if not better! The service was quick, the staff was friendly, and the portions were perfect. Lack of proper food handling. Walked up to order and there were two young women, one fixing the bun in her hair. She asked my order and I said burrito but then without washing her hands or changing gloves she touched the tortilla. I thought about saying something but one time when I did at another place the girl almost cried. I kind of froze on what to do. If you need to fix your hair then take off your gloves, fix it, wash your hands so you don’t contaminate the gloves by touching with dirty hands and put on new gloves. It shouldn’t be that hard and yes I’m hangry right now. Most women don’t even wash their hair everyday so it’s disgusting. I really would like my money back since food is not cheap and I couldn’t bring myself to eat any of it. I rarely eat out because of this reason and wish I wasn’t tempted tonight. Total waste of money.

I ordered a taco salad, which had solid flavor, but they forgot basic toppings like cheese and salsa — kind of disappointing for something so simple. The biggest challenge, though, was the noise level in the prep area. It was so loud that it was hard to hear the person taking our order, and we had to repeat ourselves several times.
Not a bad experience overall, just a little inconsistent. With a few tweaks and more attention to detail, it could easily be a standout Mexican food spot.

I love the good vibes at Durangos! The food is always consistently great! The hot salsa is just how I like it! The nugget ice is perfect and the atmosphere is old school authentic Mexican. Had not been to Durangos in awhile. Ordered the Carne Asada burrito. Like most restaurants of this type you are moved through the serving line like cattle. My burrito was sitting in an inch of liquid which caused the tortilla to be like rubber. The carne Asada had no flavor and was just bland. The portions were of good size, and the restaurant was clean. The green sauce was really good. It was not offered. I had to go back and get some of which I had to pay for. Kind of silly.

Came and stopped in for lunch while in St George, per our daughter’s recommendation. We were very impressed with everything we got. We loved having two options of rice. I got a smaller pork salad, the pork was very tasty. The small salad felt very generous for being a small. The Pico was amazing. My husband enjoyed his burrito.
