accommodating the pickier eaters in our group with a smile. The vibrant, happy atmosphere is infectious, and the happy hour is a fantastic value.
It’s a guaranteed great time!
After waiting, they finally seated us in a back room that was freezing. The grill warmed it up only while the chef was cooking; the moment he finished, the cold rushed back in. Our food went cold almost instantly. It completely ruined the experience.
The manager, May, offered hot sake, but it didn’t address the actual problem. When I explained everything later, she offered hot sake again. I felt dismissed, not heard.
Bottom line: a reservation here doesn’t seem to mean anything, and the back room is unbearably cold. I’ve never been this disappointed.
however, if this were all, i’d still probably give them 3 stars.
on top of steak joints instead of filets in a $35 hibachi steak/shrimp combo meal, there were also 3 shells of shrimp mixed in, now normally i wouldn’t be too picky about this either as im always expecting to pick off shells of shrimp (some places simply don’t do it) it’s the fact the shells were floating around in the mixture of vegetables & meats (i ordered the combo on doordash this time) and in a puddle of some type of liquid i had wrongly assume was sauce, turns out it was water that was never strained out from the pasta! and just poured all over the rice & vegetables & then packaged up and delivered, how lovely! im sure you can imagine how this food traveled, how the steak joints & shrimp shells tasted & why ill be ordering from Kin Jo, from here on out, even tho they open at 4:50.
This was our first time going in to eat here, we usually order them off of Grubhub. We definitely recommend!
The only reason why I didn’t give full five stars is because when we first came in, the hostess seemed miserable and acted like we were a burden for coming in. She warmed up after a while but seemed absolutely miserable and it made us feel really uncomfortable. And when we asked for the check, we were still munching on some stuff and talking but the waitress stood over us waiting and then asked for our payment as we’re still eating…
fantastic all-around experience. The food is superb, and the live hibachi chefs provide both delicious meals and high entertainment value right at your table. Between the lively atmosphere,
memorable performances, and amazing flavors, it’s a dining adventure I highly
recommend-and one I’ll certainly repeat!
Food was revolting.
I got the Tofu teriyaki – the tofu and broccoli were basically raw, the teriyaki sauce at the bottom was watery with no flavor. The ginger dressing for the salad was also water with no flavor. The side of plain rice was perfect tho
I actually couldn’t bring myself to eat this meal.
