Clean restaurant. Impressive menu. Very tasty food. We ordered the falafel appetizer (highly recommend), the chicken shawarma wrap, chicken shish plate with hummus and salad, and baklava. Excellent variety of flavors and well-prepared. So happy we took a chance on Dunya! Get the Sarikiz melon & strawberry beverage.

It’s our first time to try Dunya. We were surprised to hear that they’ve been at this location for 5-6 years. We ordered Chicken Kebab with rice and it was delicious. We’ve been missing Middle Eastern food since we left CA in 2015. The restaurant is located in the middle of a shopping center surrounded with plenty of parking spaces. They have disabled parking spots and a couple of tables and chairs outside. The dining area inside had ample tables and chairs. There were different Middle Eastern snacks showcased in front by the order counter. Staff were nice and pleasant. Answered our questions and helped clarify a few dishes to help us decide what to order. They have a restroom for patrons and 3 TV screens to showcase their menu which I really appreciated so I had an idea what my order would look like. Pictures were clear and labeled . All in all, we will frequent this place from now on and will tell more people about them because there aren’t enough Middle Eastern food places like them in the area.

The staff is awesome, and the gentleman behind the counter taking the orders is very nice and informative. I went with the Beef Shawarma wrap, packed full of flavor, and fresh tasting. They have Dubai chocolate, but unfortunately, I was going to purchase the last one after I ate, and I was beaten to it. I’ll definitely be back for some more great food and, hopefully, score the chocolate next time.

We ordered a mixed meat plate and one of the standard platters. We also ordered falafel, a first for me, and a chocolate pistachio baklava. A little pricy, but absolutely worth it, and you will not leave hungry. We had plenty to take home. Very convenient to find, easy parking.

The food here is Good. My problem with them is they have NO appreciation for their customer. When you order thru a 3rd party app (door dash/Uber eats) they will hand your bag to a total stranger wide open. Inviting this stranger who’s bringing your food to you to open your containers and spit, eat some of it, poison it, whatever they choose. They DO NOT respect your patronizing them enough to tie up your bag to protect your food. So my advice to all reading this, DO NOT order thru an app because they won’t protect you. They don’t care enough to.

Ordered one chicken Shawarma and one beef Shawarma they both taste great it’s a different style of Shawarma then I’m a custom too, but I really enjoyed eating it so did my wife. I also got one of their nonalcoholic malt beverages. Had a good flavor to it.

I ate the beef shawarma with rice and it was very good. I personally would get a little more of the sauce that goes over top but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t good. I enjoyed it very much and I will definitely be coming back here when I am able to go back to Blanding.

Visited today with my family. The food was so fresh, delicious, and flavorful. We enjoyed The Beef Shawarma Plate with Basmati rice, Baba Ghanoush (grilled eggplant), and Kibbeh (stuffed ground beef), The Chicken Shish Kebab over rice, and an order of Falafel. Everything was tasty. I will definitely visit again soon ☺️ Let’s not forget about their sweet Pistachio Baklava

I love Mediterranean food. It’s interesting the different flavors between Greek and Iraqi but let me tell you. The falafel was hands down the best I’ve had since living in Jacksonville. Packed with flavor. The close second was the Dunya fries. Lord have mercy. I almost stabbed my husbands fork to stay away lol. For his entree he had the chicken shawarma and I had the Iraqi chicken kebab. This plate came with two appetizers. I picked hummus and tabouli. It was different. I will definitely come back. The men behind the scene are great people. Nice people. Dinner was delicious.
