Dunn Brothers Coffee – Jefferson City has a lot of potential, but there are several areas that need real improvement. First, they really need to add whole milk as an option. Only offering 2% and fat-free doesn’t work well for coffee—both affect the taste and make drinks come across as watered down.
The pastries and breakfast sandwich options are also underwhelming and could be significantly better with more variety and improved quality. Another ongoing issue is the Redbud drinks; they are very inconsistent—sometimes they’re made well, other times they miss the mark completely, which is frustrating for a specialty drink you expect to be reliable.
The bathrooms are also a concern. They are often poorly stocked and appear like they haven’t been properly cleaned in quite some time, which really impacts the overall experience.
This Jefferson City location could be a great coffee spot, but it needs more attention to cleanliness, consistency, and menu options. With more effort, this place could truly be better.

Out of my way stop the other morning and got an espresso coffee and avocado toast. Both were fantastic. Highly recommend both. A slightly hidden treasure in our town. Easily better than the big name main stream shops that litter this town. Kiddos to Dunn bros!

Large coffee venue with a large indoor area to sit along with 4 tables outside. They grind the coffee beans daily so they are fresh. Besides the coffee selection, they have pastries and some breakfast sandwiches. Staffed primarily by friendly college students.

Just okay, unfortunately. Overly roasted(burnt?) flavor on a vanilla latte. Friendly service though

I like this place, small and not too complex menu. Prices are about average for coffee. Drive through is a little wonky I come from all different directions.
Service has always been fast, including pup cups for my dogs

The breakfast options are great! Whether you’re in the mood for something hearty or sweet, or even a little bit of both like me! And the coffee is comparable to 7Brew, and that’s saying something. The location is a hidden gem of Jeff but it’s worth it. And don’t let the exterior appearance fool you, it’s actually really spacious on the inside with a relaxing vibe to stay and sit for hours. The drive thru is also fast and friendly if you’re in a rush, but tip them well, they deserve it

Every time I visit Jefferson City I make sure I have time to visit. They beat other coffee places by 1000%. They make the best coffee products and have fresh pastries. The staff is fantastic. They are courteous and fast. The atmosphere is great and if you want to hang around, there is also seating outside.

Menu to order in the drive through doesn’t have the “everything bagel crescent” listed on it, only posted on a window in the drive through(after you order). So last time I came through I didn’t see it until the window and was told it was too late to change my order. No big deal, I’ll try it next time.
Fast forward to today. I am a picky eater so I specifically asked what came on the sandwich and after given my options I chose cheddar cheese, BACON and egg. (On the crescent) my first sandwich I had to pull around and wait for only to get home and it be a bagel with sausage. I called them and drove back since it’s not very cheap($15 for a sandwich and coffee). I get there, they “fixed it” I get home – crescent with SAUSAGE, egg and cheese.
I don’t know why I was asked what meat I want or even wasted my time going back to get the same thing on a crescent. Not only that but the picture on the window HAS BACON. Just frustrating, second shot at trying it wasn’t really worth the time and money I wasted going back and forth. Ended up tossing the sandwich and going to scooters for an everything bagel sandwich.

So, I came in this morning to pick up an order for a customer. I’m an independent contractor for a food delivery app. I’ve been here several times for that purpose. The service is usually curt and slow. The customer I picked up for asked me to grab some cutlery since their IHOP order came without it. I turned my car around, parked, and came back in. I told this to the girl at the register. She then proceeded to tell an older gentleman, I assume he’s one of the owners or management of some kind. He said “She can go ask IHOP.” I was stunned. This customer had just spent at least $20 on her drinks from your business and you can’t give her some 33 cent cutlery? (The average cost of restaurant to-go cutlery is 11 cents.) She asked for 3. I had hoped to try this place sometime when I was off work, but if this is how you treat customers you won’t be getting any of my money. Not even 33 cents.

This is my favorite coffee shop in JC. Creative coffee offerings, and the food is good. The seating area has plenty of choices with accessible plugs for a laptop. Comfy seats available too. Perfect place to enjoy coffee while catching up on work, school, or hanging out with friends. They also have an outdoor seating area too.
