I made an order whatever I could to take to work, and this is what I opened when I go there. For $9, this was the worst 6 donuts I’ve ever seen. Just for the 6! And the donut holes were so dry like they were from the day before.
When I called to voice my complaint, the “acting shift lead at the moment” said he would take my issues into consideration and let the bakery they get the donuts from know about it so in the future “hopefully they can do better” No offer of replacing them or anything.
The only reason I’m writing this review is because the customer service was absolutely not delivered at any point today from this location. Not in the product and not in how it was handled.
This loction in windcrest upcharges nearly $2 more. Pictures attached shows 15mins down the road I got a brown sugar shaken espresso (medium) for around 5 dollars, though at this location it rings up around 7 dollars for the exact same item size medium too. Only noticed this difference yesterday, and yes I understand franchises can set prices differently but nonetheless 2 dollar difference is alot. It shows on the receipt a “San Antonio 1” extra charge of .55, higher then the state tax of .45. As well as a automatic tip of .72 that I was next asked about giving mind you. For those reasons I gave a 1 star, I dont blame the workers but the owner and their greed.
I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese croissant with hashbrowns and 1 glazed donut. I received a BACON, egg, and cheese croissant with some kind of cheese bread things, and the donut I got wasnt even glazed on half of it.
Worst yet, both the croissant and the cheese bread were absolutely cold in the center. I got home and nuked them to the right temp, but they both tasted pretty gross. The bacon they used on it was maple bacon, which absolutely does not work on a croissant.
While I was waiting on my order, I saw the employees just talking to each other, rather than preping the food for the line of people behind me. Which explains why I had to wait around 5 minutes to get my order.
