1. Totally handicap accessible, lots of parking & a wide open seating & order area for customers using handi-capable equipment.
2. Very clean! The workers keep the work areas and surfaces tidy and wiped down. All garbage is taken care of and the areas that can be viewed by the customers is organized and pleasing to the eye.
3. Although a somewhat younger crowd works here – ALL the employees are clean, pleasant, helpful and respectful! (Good job guys!! )
4. The prices are acceptable for the foods and beverages ordered. (A little expensive for the sandwiches, but totally worth it! – They’re tasty!!)
5. If there’s something not available that you wanted for your order, the employees try their best to accommodate you with a comparable choice. Example: we wanted a everything bagel for a sandwich – but they were out at that moment…
So they offered to take a plain bagel and turn it into an everything by adding the everything spices to the outside of it!
6. The coffee drinks are totally yummy and if you’re a fan of starbucks? – You should try Dunkin’ Donuts, they’re less expensive & totally worth trying in comparison!
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS!!
When I first parked, a staff member was cussing out a homeless man for sleeping next to a bench, not disturbing anyone.
I went inside a few minutes later because I was meeting with a colleague, and I happened to have my young baby with me. I went to the bathroom to change him and there were no changing tables in the women’s restrooms so I had to change my baby on the floor. He began crying, I’m trying to soothe him and finish up quickly, and a staff member starts jiggling the door handle and trying to come in. I opened the door and explained that I was changing my child’s diaper. She claimed she had no idea anyone was in there (my colleague told me she could hear my baby crying from the bathroom, which I felt badly about because I knew it was disruptive, however, babies cry). At this point, I give the worker some grace because I’m sure she could hear him crying and was probably concerned. But also, she could have just been transparent that she was just checking on us. Not a fan of roundabout excuses.
I continue with my meeting, which went longer than expected BUT I was planning on ordering some food and drinks before I left to bring home to my spouse. My baby wasn’t being disruptive – he was babbling as babies do, but I was trying to keep him calm and entertained on my lap while simultaneously working. A manager approached my colleague and I, and pretty much kicked us out, and quite rudely. She gave some excuse that they had to disinfect every few hours. But there had hardly been anyone else come in – and do they kick out paying customers to “disinfect” too? It felt rather hostile, and I would have appreciated a simple explanation of “If you’re going to stay, we need you to order something because this space is for paying customers” (which is what I’m GUESSING was their issue, but I also wonder if it was because I had my child with me). Again, transparency would have been appreciated.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. The workers were rude and judgmental.
