It’s like visiting a typical store in the Philippines, with a bunch of paninda and lutong ulam. Special shout out to Odi, forgot to ask his better half name. Both are lovely couples tending the store.

This is a great store if you need ingredients to make Filipino food. It also has a wonderful deli where you can buy cooked food to go. They always have adobo, caldareta and lumpia. Daily specials change from longonisa, sinigang and denuguan. I’m sure my spelling is incorrect for some of these dishes, but I will return to pick up food for my dad when I visit him in Lynnwood.

I visited D’Unik on a Saturday afternoon just to see what kinds of foods they have. There is a small grocery section of the store with Filipino goods and in the back you can order hot items like adobo and lumpia. There were some tables to sit at as well if you wanted to eat the food there. I ended up getting a pack of ube butter cookies and a halo halo to go. The ube cookies were good and not something I see too often. The halo halo was made to order and tasted really good. It had beans and jello cubes with peaches and strawberries I believe. The ice cream scoop on top was rich and creamy as well and tasted great. The older gentleman who was in charge of the cashier was friendly and made me feel welcome too. I hope to return and plan on getting some hot food.

The food is so good! Generous portion sizes, hearty food, and very reasonable price. Honestly I think they could charge more for the value. Plus the couple that runs it is super nice.

Went there today during after work traffic and they were closed! Why have business hours if you are randomly closed throughout the day. Thank you for wasting my time!

If you like Filipino food then you have to stop by this place for lunch. The choices aren’t extensive, they usually keep it simple with 1 pork, 1 beef, 1 chicken, 1 veggie. They also have lumpia. They serve the food in 4 different bowl sizes. Prices are certainly reasonable. Make sure to get there early because they do sell out of food relatively quickly. I really recommend the beef stew and chicken adobo when they have it in stock.
